Kim Heung-guk and Hong Seo-beom, deep-rooted ‘emotional valley’
YouTube channel ‘Gura Cheol’ recently uploaded two episodes by Kim Heung-guk and Hong Seo-beom. Kim Heung-guk and Hong Seo-beom finally meet in the released video.
The first cause of their conflict was ‘age’. Hong Seo-beom, who always called Kim Heung-guk “brother.” When I found out Kim Heung-guk's real age, a problem with his title arose. Kim Heung-guk was born in 1959, and Hong Seo-beom was born in 1958. Hong Seo-beom is one year older than me.
The second cause was MBC’s ‘Radio Star’. Kim Heung-guk and Hong Seo-beom were cast at the same time, and they had to practice together. However, Hong Seo-beom looked at Kim Heung-guk, who was in charge of drums, and criticized his skills.
This wasn't the only thing. Hong Seo-beom confessed, "I went to a celebrity soccer event, and Chairman Chung Mong-joon also came. I took all the kids with me and took my mom with me. We played one or two games, and he (Kim Heung-guk) kept playing. It was his heart."
He continued, "But I have to go in, but (Kim Heung-guk) doesn't call me. I also came to play soccer, but the kids asked, 'When will Dad go in?' "Even though he did it, (Kim Heung-guk) was the manager himself. He didn't call me. In the end, I couldn't play the game," he confessed.
Kim Heung-guk also felt unfair about the ‘title issue’. He said, “I didn’t order it.” Hong Seo-beom said, "(When asked about my age) 'I'm old!' “You said that. So I said he was older than me, so I thought he must be three or four years older. From then on, I called him my older brother.”
Regarding soccer, he also apologized, saying, "I'm the type of person who plays alone," and "My family came, so I'm sorry."
