Kim Jong-min asks new member Yoo Seon-ho, “How did this guy come in?”
In KBS2's '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4', which aired on the 22nd, the fruitful journey of six men who thoroughly enjoyed the bitter cold was depicted.
The broadcast on this day began with the members having a delicious dinner after preparing a rich meal with ingredients they worked hard to obtain. The members who gathered together after dinner could not hide their surprise at the record-breaking cold temperature of minus 20 degrees. Then, as a symbol of unity after the end of the Hunmin War, we started a sleepover, with the option of sleeping in a warm ondol room.
The Bed Blessing Mission was a tear-collecting triathlon in which participants had to collect a total of 6L of water through three rounds. When the first round of the pipe water transfer game began, the members even practiced in advance, showing their enthusiasm for the success of sleeping in an ondol room. In this game, which requires agility and speed, Na In-woo and Yoo Seon-ho showed poor teamwork, slipping, and advanced to the next round without receiving 600ML of water.
In the second round, a game was played in which the participants, blindfolded, put snow in a bucket behind their head and passed it to the next person behind their head to collect water. The six men started the game fully prepared, even wearing swimming goggles. The second runner, Na In-woo, who was supposed to receive attention from the first runner, Moon Se-yoon, failed to communicate and carried the empty bucket. Na In-woo worked hard to deliver the snow to the next runner, Kim Jong-min, but the snow was not in the bucket, and all the snow that Moon Se-yoon delivered was covered by Na In-woo, creating an unconventional visual.
The final round of the snow moving game is a game in which six men must move a wash basin filled with snow for 100 seconds using only their feet to succeed. When Yoo Seon-ho failed the game one after another in high-difficulty missions, Kim Jong-min got angry and said, "How did this kid get in? Our power has gotten worse," which eventually escalated into a crazy snowball fight and the mission to collect 6L of water failed.
While sleeping in a cold room was confirmed, an additional mission opportunity to sleep in an ondol room was given thanks to the generosity of the production team. It was a success if the majority shed tears within 30 seconds. Yeon Jeong-hoon, Yoo Seon-ho, Moon Se-yoon, and Na In-woo succeeded side by side, and after many twists and turns, the six men were able to secure a warm indoor sleep.
Team Yeon Jeong-hoon, who lost in the last Hunmin War, headed to the observatory late at night to carry out their punishment. Soon, Yeon Jeong-hoon's team looked at various constellations and planets through a telescope, exclaimed in amazement at the beautiful sight, and ended the mission on a heartwarming note with an incredible stargazing observatory experience.
Meanwhile, '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' ranked first in the same time slot in household viewership ratings nationwide. In particular, the scene at the end of the broadcast where the other members lie down and move Na In-woo, who became a big brother after winning the mission, and shout that the newborns should fight, saying they can't be fools anymore, soared to the highest viewership rating of 11.2% per minute (based on households nationwide).
