'You Quiz' actor Lee Seong-min revealed his love story with his wife.

Lee Sung-min appeared on tvN's entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block', which aired on the 25th.

Despite opposition from his family, Lee Seong-min, who had dreamed of becoming an actor since high school, joined a theater company. He acted in a theater company for 10 years.

Lee Seong-min even cried due to the extreme hardships of life. He said, "When I was in my 20s, I cried while holding my pillow. I cried because I was hungry, sad, and tired. It must have been when I was 24 years old after being discharged from the military. It was a moon room, and the theater director had lent me the room. There were no screens, so I was hungry and sad while catching mosquitoes in the summer." “I cried,” he recalled. There was a time when I went back to the countryside and did manual labor in the winter because I thought I should quit acting, but I soon returned to the theater stage.

When I returned to the Daegu Theater Company, I met my current wife. My wife is a dancer who majored in modern dance. Lee Sung-min told his love story from his first meeting with his wife until marriage. Lee Seong-min said about his first meeting with his wife, "There was a dance scene in the performance, so I needed a choreographer. My wife planned the dance and came to see the performance every day. This is supposed to calculate the cost of the choreography, but I was like, 'Are you asking me for money?' “My feet were numb,” he said with laughter.

Lee Seong-min said, "I was in a situation where I had to verbally tell her by buying her food, but my wife asked, 'Can I contact you often?'" and "I said I couldn't get married. I said I couldn't afford it, but the situation changed a year later."

Lee Seong-min also recalled when he first heard the news of his wife's pregnancy. He said, "I couldn't afford to go on a honeymoon, so I got married in Daegu and went to Gyeongju for my honeymoon. I had a child on my honeymoon, but I couldn't be happy. We really didn't have money. We could endure the hardships, but we didn't even have a child." “I couldn’t make it difficult,” he said, confessing his heavy feelings at the time.

Lee Sung-min also revealed the behind-the-scenes details of last year's hit film 'The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family.' Song Joong-ki is said to have recommended Lee Sung-min for the role of Chairman Jin Yang-cheol. Seongmin Lee said, “The work was good, but since Joong-ki said he would play this role, I thought I had to do it no matter what.”

Lee Sung-min praised Song Joong-ki for being easy-going. Lee Seong-min said, "When meeting people, his attitude is that of a senior, but I try to imitate him. Like Joong-ki, I am also trying to be down-to-earth and approachable more easily."
