Kim Shin-rok "Acting as a shaman, I'm scared of actually being possessed."

Actor Kim Shin-rok revealed his difficulties about acting as a shaman.

On the 26th, Kim Shin-rok appeared in a video titled ‘I looked into the filmography of famous daughter Jin Hwa-young, or rather, actor Kim Shin-rok’ on the fashion magazine Arena Homme Plus YouTube channel.

In the released video, Kim Shin-rok mentioned Jin Jin-young, who played the role in the JTBC drama 'Chaebol Family's Youngest Son'. He said, “In the scene where he tells Do-jun not to be presumptuous, saying ‘You guys are different from us’ clearly shows that he is a person who has a sense of the good people down to his bones.”

He also added, “There is a scene where he calls Im Sang-moo and says, ‘Invest all 140 billion won.’ I thought he was a very dynamic person because he has great desires and wants more because he thinks he is lacking.”

I also remembered the time when I played the role of shaman Seok-hee in tvN’s ‘Method’. Kim Shin-rok said, “It can be said to be my proper drama debut.”

He continued, "In fact, I received training, albeit in a small way, from shaman teachers who are currently active in the field. They said they were the team that advised me on the movie 'The Wailing.'"

However, he said, “There are actors who actually become possessed while filming something like that, so it was a bit scary.” Kim Shin-rok said, "But after taking the class, I felt like I was going to die from exhaustion, so I didn't have time to be possessed. I probably didn't run for even a minute. But I was almost dying, so I called a taxi and was taken away."

Lastly, Kim Shin-rok added, "As an actor, I have always done as much work as I can with acting. I think I will continue to do a lot of work in the future regardless of genre or format."
