Pyo Ye-jin of SBS' Friday-Saturday drama 'Model Taxi 2' expressed her feelings about returning as the golden maknae of 'Rainbow Dark Heroes' through a written interview.

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Model Taxi 2', which will be aired for the first time on February 17th, is a 'society where justice is missing, just a phone call is all it takes'. The mysterious taxi company Rainbow Transportation and taxi driver Kim Do-gi complete revenge on behalf of wronged victims. It is a private revenge drama. Season 1 of 'Model Taxi', based on the webtoon of the same name, was based on the concept of a taxi driver hunting down villains, and featured everything from dynamic fun to the thrilling catharsis of encouraging good and punishing evil, and ranked 4th in SBS's all-time Friday-Saturday drama viewership ratings.

Pyo Ye-jin played the role of Ango-eun, the youngest member of 'Rainbow Dark Heroes' and a hacker, showing off her prickly but smart and confident charm. In addition, she played the role of a family member whose older sister was the victim of an illegally leaked video. Pyo Ye-jin recalled the time when Season 1 aired and said, “It was amazing that the episodes that appeared in the drama were compared to real events and were reexamined, and I felt that much responsibility.” Also, “Personally, I really wanted to portray Go Eun well, but I think the most satisfying and rewarding response was, ‘Did Pyo Ye Jin have such a new side?’ “In Season 2, we put a lot of thought into her tone of voice, personality, and even styling to show Go-eun, who is much more mature and solid than in Season 1,” he added.

Pyo Ye-jin said, “At the end of season 1, the response was so good that I was vaguely looking forward to season 2 and then we broke up. I kept waiting in my heart, but once the story of Season 2 production came out, I couldn't be more excited and excited. “I was thrilled to the point of excitement because it was a work I really cared about, the family members, and the character Go-eun,” he said. Also, when asked about the reason for his decision to appear and his thoughts, he said, “There was nothing to call a decision because I had been waiting all along. Rather, it was an honor to be able to live once more as Go Eun of Rainbow Transportation. “I feel like I’m finally back where I belong,” he said, expressing his special affection for the ‘Model Taxi’ series.

Pyo Ye-jin did not hide her affection for the Rainbow Transportation family. He said, “Even after season 1 ended, we kept in contact and met each other consistently. I think we always talked about looking forward to season 2. It's definitely much more comfortable and familiar than last season, so I feel like I fit in without even saying anything. “In particular, on the filming day of the basement maintenance room set where we all gathered together, it was fun and the atmosphere on set was so good that we were busy chatting and laughing with each other,” he said, boasting of their strong chemistry.

Pyo Ye-jin said, “I was able to work with good seniors, including CEO Jang, who leads the field with humor and ease, Je-hoon oppa, who is trustworthy and reliable like a real driver Kim Do-gi, Manager Choi, who is sweet and funny, and Manager Park, who is much more friendly and considerate than me. “I’m happy enough just to be there, and I also want to be a helpful junior,” he said, adding warmth. However, “If we were to choose the actual ranking of Rainbow Team, Chief Park is the youngest. “I think I’m higher than Director Park,” he confessed, drawing laughter. Regarding the reason, he explained, “The seniors led me so comfortably that it created that kind of atmosphere, and I am always thankful and considerate while filming,” making it possible to understand the source of the strong team chemistry of ‘Rainbow Dark Heroes.’

Pyo Ye-jin said that the viewing point of Season 2 was 'playing secondary characters in much more flashy episodes.' He said, “Not only driver Kim Do-gi but also the entire Rainbow Transportation family will show a more diverse team play. I am confident that you will find it very pleasant and refreshing. “Also, we have worked hard to prepare for Go Eun’s new appearance in the field, in addition to the call van, so please look forward to it.” Also, “Personally, I really like the message of ‘Model Taxi,’ and I think it’s great that there are real-life events and social issues worth thinking about and talking about in a cheerful way. “I hope we can have fun together and talk a lot this time,” he emphasized.

Ye-jin Pyo said, “What I felt while watching Season 2 was that this precious opportunity would not have come if the viewers had not loved it so much. “I sincerely thank you for loving the ‘Model Taxi’ series, and I’m filming really hard to repay that love, so I hope you enjoy it again,” he said, repeatedly expressing his gratitude to the viewers. He then asked people to watch the show, saying, “I hope we can meet in person on February 17th when it finally runs again.”

‘Model Taxi 2’ is scheduled to premiere on February 17th at 10 PM.
