Broadcaster Kim Na-young showed a lenient attitude toward children's use of informal language.

In MBC's 'Fathers Who Crossed the Water', which aired on the 5th, Tumul, an Indian father, spoke informally to his daughter Dana, such as saying, "Eat Dad," and tried to correct Dana's informal conversation by paying attention to her informal conversation and using polite language.

In response to Dana continuing to speak informally at the neighborhood meeting, Tumul said, "Just like in Korea, India also has a culture of polite language. I think it would be good for children to teach polite language from the beginning."

Andy, who heard this, said, "I like informal language," and "I think there is a distance and a connection when you use formal language." Alberto said, "Italy also has a culture of speaking informally and politely, but it is reciprocal. If a teacher speaks informally to me, I speak informally to the teacher, and if someone speaks politely, I also speak respectfully."

He said, "My sister-in-law is married to a French man, and although she speaks Korean very well, she can't use the honorific language. I was jealous of that. I asked my father-in-law, 'Are you in the market?' “I do it,” he said.

Kim Na-young, who heard this, said, "At the daycare center that our CNU went to, the teachers and children use informal language to each other. So instead of calling them teacher, they call them nicknames. When I was young, I was so scared of adults that I couldn't say what I should say, so I grew up watching what the kids noticed. “I hope they don’t fear adults,” he said, drawing attention.

Alberto laughed, saying, "You don't have to worry about speaking informally. When I sent my son to Taekwondo academy, he immediately said, 'Hello, how are you?'"

Other panelists also said, "Even if you speak informally, you will learn everything naturally when you grow up, so I don't think you need to worry too much."
