Son Eun-seo "'Casino' bed scene, an implicit scene that shows the character's desire"
Son Eun-seo emphasized that the bed scene in ‘Casino’ gave the character persuasiveness.

Recently, I met actress Son Eun-seo, who appeared in the Disney Plus series 'Casino' and SBS 'The Law', at a cafe in Sinsa-dong, Seoul.

‘Casino’ is a work that depicts the life story of Cha Mu-sik (Choi Min-sik), who became a ‘casino legend’. Son Eun-seo played the role of hotelier Kim So-jeong. Season 1 of ‘Casino’ ended on January 25th, and Season 2 will begin on February 15th.

'Law' is a thrilling revenge drama between 'money merchant' Eun-yong (Lee Sun-gyun) and 'legal technician' Jun-kyung (Park Jun-kyung) who fight against the cartel of 'Law' and 'Jjen'. It ended on the 11th. Son Eun-seo played Myeong Se-hee, the daughter of Chairman Myeong (played by Kim Hong-pa), known as the ‘Myeong-dong private loan king’, and the wife of Hwang Ki-seok (played by Park Hoon), a former chief prosecutor of the special department.

Myeong Se-hee is a person with a strong desire for fame, and Kim So-jung is a person with a strong desire for material things.

In 'Casino', Kim So-jung appears bright and flawless on the outside, but she has a criminal record for fraud and is in a situation where she has to support her sick mother alone. He asks Yang Jeong-pal, who likes him, to move his workplace to a better hotel, and makes a plan with Yang Jeong-pal's colleague and friend Philip (Lee Hae-woo) to extort the winnings from casino guests. She also sleeps with Jeongpal and Philip. The bed scene with Jeong-pal is not depicted directly but is depicted in a pleasant way, while the scene with Philip is portrayed explicitly and erotically.

Son Eun-seo explained, "Dong-hwi is portrayed in a light and comical way. Jung-pal's feelings for So-jung are conveyed." He continued, "I think it was a scene with Philip that showed So-jung's character all at once. I was worried and worried when I saw that there was a bed scene, but I thought this scene represented Kim So-jung." At the same time, "I thought there was an implicit meaning that showed Kim So-jung's desire in the context of 'Casino' as a whole. It was not just a scene where So-jung seduced this person and that person with words, but it was a scene that revealed it all at once. Anyone can use anyone and betray anyone. Kim So-jung is capable, and this is a scene where she can show that.”
