Uhm Jung-hwa "Jeong Jae-hyung and I are destined"
Uhm Jeong-hwa recently posted a video titled 'What I want to say to you who are worried' through her personal YouTube channel 'Umaizing Uhm Jung-hwa TV'.
In the released video, Uhm Jung-hwa said, "A friend in my life must have unconditional love. With love, they must be able to sometimes turn me away from the wrong path and support me. I want to be the kind of friend who is positive and accepts new things." He explained the 'friend' he was thinking of.
He said, "I have one such friend, and it's Jaehyung Jeong. I can say he's my best friend. I think Jaehyung Jeong is the kind of friend I just mentioned."
He added, "Sometimes I'm very obnoxious, but there are many times when I think, 'I wouldn't have seen new things without Jaehyung.' It was surfing, music, and friends."
Uhm Jung-hwa and Jung Jae-hyung first met in 1996. Jaehyung Jeong, who was active in a group called 'Basis' at the time, and Jeonghwa Uhm, who was working on their second album. Uhm Jung-hwa mentioned that she met Jeong Jae-hyung at a performance in Haeundae and became close friends with him.
Uhm Jeong-hwa said, "We became best friends right away. I came to like Jae-hyung so much. That's why we've continued until now. Isn't it amazing? I think we've been able to break through it by sharing life's worries and works together. We are helpful and supportive to each other. “We became friends. I think we were a bit destined.”
