Soyoung Ahn, the story behind not being able to open a soft tofu restaurant
In the KBS 2TV entertainment program 'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together', which aired on the 14th, four sisters Park Won-sook, Hye-eun, Ahn So-young, and Ahn Moon-sook held a talk concert to remember the 100th episode.
On this day, a man holding flowers appeared ahead of the talk concert. Hye-eun opened the door and said happily, “What’s going on!” It was Mr. Jong-myeon, the Okcheon landlord who had a fling with Kim Cheong in the past.

Hye-eun asked Ahn So-young, “I dreamed of becoming an actor, but why did you suddenly leave for the United States and not work for a long time?” Single mom Ahn So-young said it was a choice she made for her son. He said, “I had a child at that time. “I was planning to take the child to the United States and live there.”
Soyoung Ahn told an anecdote about the time she prepared and opened a soft tofu restaurant to make a living in the United States. Soyoung Ahn confessed her difficulties, saying, "My son loved soft tofu. So, I was not afraid to open a soft tofu restaurant. I was entrusted with the construction of the restaurant, but it wasn't finished for a year, so I couldn't open the store."
It is said that the village team leader, who learned of this, called various equipment companies to help Ahn So-young. Soyoung Ahn said, "I've been spending my time for a year, but in the United States, there is a village team leader in every town." He added, "He happened to be going home and saw the light on in our store, so he came in. He asked me why I couldn't open the store. I asked. "My English is poor, so my younger brother spoke. . on the phone. The team leader who found out about the story said he would let us open tomorrow. They called all the equipment companies, so the construction was completed in one day." When Park Won-sook wondered, "Did he give you benefits because he was lured by your beauty?" Ahn So-young said, "No. Every time he passed by, he said, 'When will that house open?'"
Ahn So-young, who started the restaurant, recalled, "At first, I didn't know anything about running a restaurant, such as whether I should give water to customers or how to do it." He continued, “A Chinese old man came as a guest, and after eating soft tofu, he gave me $100, saying, 'I'll bring you good luck, so hang it on the counter.'” This is more than 10 times the price of the food. Ahn So-young surprised people by saying, “After my grandfather visited, there was a real influx of Chinese customers.”
