Seol In-ah, MC for 4 dramas and entertainment awards
On the 6th, an online production presentation for KBS2's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Oasis' was held. Director Han Hee and actors Jang Dong-yoon, Seol In-ah, and Chu Young-woo attended.
Jang Dong-yoon played the role of Lee Du-hak, who was born as the son of a tenant farmer in a small, quiet village in Yeosu. Seol In-ah played Oh Jung-shin, whom Doo-hak and Cheol-woong fell in love with at first sight. Choo Young-woo played the role of Choi Cheol-woong, the second generation reader of Doo-hak's family. While Lee Doo-hak is filling the pages of his brilliant youth with his brother-like friend Choi Cheol-woong and Oh Jung-shin, whom he fell in love with at first sight, he encounters an unexpected event and is placed at a crossroads in his fate.
Seol In-ah said, “I will transfer to Yeosu and meet Doo-hak and Cheol-woong. “He is a character who draws dreams and love,” he said. “The charm of Jeongsin is that he is a character full of passion for the things he likes and the people he likes. “Seeing such charm will be a point to watch,” he explained.
Seol In-ah said, “The roller coaster is not just for Doo-hak, but for all the characters in the drama. Aren’t there times in our lives when it feels like a roller coaster? I felt attracted to that part of the script. It is also a work that makes you want to act. “It’s an honor to be doing it now,” he said, explaining the reason for his appearance. He then mentioned perfect timing, saying, “I like analog sensibilities, and I was wondering, ‘When will a drama like this come out?’ and then I came across ‘Oasis.’”
Seol In-ah has a deep connection with KBS, including the dramas 'School 2017', 'Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life', and 'Oasis', as well as MC for the Entertainment Awards. Seol In-ah said, “Thankfully, I have a lot of ties to KBS. Passes were also issued due to daily dramas. As soon as you arrive at KBS Yeouido, excitement starts from the alley. It is in front of KBS in Yeouido that it makes you focus from the beginning. Restaurants are also good. “Thank you,” he said proudly. He continued, “I had a new experience at KBS to promote ‘Oasis.’ “I stood on the music broadcast stage with Jang Dong-yoon,” he said.
'Oasis' is a drama that tells the story of three young people who fiercely sacrifice themselves to protect their own dreams, friendship, and first love, their only dream of life, set against the backdrop of Korea's turbulent times from the 1980s to the 1990s. It will be aired for the first time at 9:50 pm on the 6th.
