There was no case that couldn't be solved with the persistence and will of the detectives in 'Brave Detectives 2'. In the 19th episode of T-Cast E Channel's 'Brave Detectives 2' (directed by Lee Ji-seon and Lee Byeong-hyuk), which aired on the 10th, Detective Han Sang-yoon from Anseong Police Station, Detective Kim Bo-ram and Shin Jeong-hoon from Yongin Eastern Police Station, and Detective Kim Seon-hong from Gwangju Police Station appeared.

The case introduced by detectives Han Sang-yoon, Kim Bo-ram, and Shin Jeong-hoon, who were active in the Yongin East Division's violent crime team, began in the courtroom. In December 2020, during the fourth trial of a murder case at Suwon District Court, suspect A handed over a note containing a detailed statement of the crime. Mr. A claimed that it was a note he received from the real culprit.

Five months before the trial, a missing person report was filed at Yongin East Department. The missing person, Mr. Chae, lost contact with his co-worker after sending a text message that differed from his usual tone of voice. Detectives captured Chae entering her ex-boyfriend's villa the day before she disappeared. After checking the CCTV, there was no trace of Mr. Chae.

Detectives decided to urgently arrest the ex-boyfriend. During the police investigation, he remained 'ignorant'. However, CCTV showed him going out with something and returning empty-handed seven times. Afterwards, detectives recovered Mr. Chae's mutilated body from the river near the villa. He was sent to the prosecution while denying the charges until the end, and considering it was a cruel crime, his personal information was made public. Yoo Dong-su, a Chinese compatriot who had a family in China, was in a relationship with Chae and committed the crime when Chae asked to break up.

The note he claimed to have received from the real culprit was written by Yoo Dong-su. He manipulated evidence to confuse the verdict, but ultimately revealed that he was the culprit. Yoo Dong-su was sentenced to life imprisonment in the second trial.

The second incident was with ‘popular actor’ Kim Ho-young. He said, “There are a lot of loyal listeners around. “The nail shop views appearing on ‘Brave Detectives’ as a measure of success,” he said, causing laughter. Detective Kim Seon-hong was a little taken aback by his extraordinary tension, but smiled, saying, “He has a charm that puts you at ease.”

On a night in June 2017, two daughters visited Earth University, saying that their mother, who was in her 80s, could not contact her. The mother disappeared, leaving a missed call to her youngest daughter. The police found the mother dead inside the warehouse at the end of the veranda of the house in a position as if she was standing on her head. Detective Kim did not miss what his second daughter, Park, said, “I am hiding from the man I live with.” At that time, the CCTV analysis team captured a man covering his face with an umbrella, and Mr. Park said, “It looks like Mr. Choi.” As a result of the investigation, Mr. Choi was wanted for rape and injury to Mr. Park's friend.

Mr. Choi, who did not let go of his obsession with Ms. Park, called her, and the investigation team arrested Mr. Choi on the spot. Mr. Choi was hiding in the emergency stairs and broke in at dawn after seeing his mother keying in the password. Mr. Choi claimed that it was an accidental accident that occurred while he was covering his mouth when his mother screamed in surprise. However, as the investigation continued, Mr. Choi stated that he decided to commit the crime because he thought that Mr. Park broke up with him because he was stressed out by his mother. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
