Kim Jung-hyun said eternal farewell to Lim Soo-hyang.

In the 14th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Season of Kokdu', which aired on the 17th, Kkokdu (played by Kim Jeong-hyeon) was depicted knocking on the door of the underworld through death in order to disappear forever from Hangyejeol (played by Im Soo-hyang).

Han Hane-jeol, who remembered all of Seol-hee's (played by Im Soo-hyang) time with the hairpin he fatefully met on the show, realized that he was the beginning of the curse that Kok-du had endured, and began to count his pain. Then, deeply touched by Kokdu's words that love is 'a duty that one does not want to escape,' he held the hand of the man who sacrificed his life for love and promised to be together in the future as well.

However, as the love between Kokdu and Hanjeol grew deeper, the shadow of tragedy towards them also grew bigger. Kkokdu's wounds caused by Taejung-sik (played by Kim Young-woong) stabbing him with a knife began to heal, and Han Hane-jeol, who saw Kokdu's blood, knew the outcome of the past when someone with Taejung-sik's face shot an arrow at Kkokdu, so he was close to death. I couldn't help but feel anxious as to whether I was going.

Kokdu was overcome with anger when he realized that the hairpin with Seolhee's blood on it had returned to Hanjeol's side. He did not even blink at the warning of the gold ring (played by Seong Byeong-sook), which foretells planned destruction, and expressed his firm determination that he would follow the fate that was in his own hands, not anyone else's.

This kind of determination was cruelly crushed when an unexpected accident happened to Jeong Eun (played by Lee Jeong-jun). Jeong-deun, who died a long time ago while helping Kokdu against the Yuan Dynasty, has once again become a victim in the threat of Kim Pil-soo (played by Choi Gwang-il) surrounding Kokdu. No longer able to allow his loved ones to fall into danger, Kokdu surrendered to fate and chose to follow the Creator's punishment.

The only way to keep Hangyejeol on the path chosen by Kokdu was to say eternal farewell and achieve extinction. In this way, Kokdu announced the end to Hanjeol and uttered bitter words, “Let’s not let anything pass by, whether it’s snow, rain, or wind.” Hangyejeol, who could not bear to watch Kokdu grow more and more, was relieved that Kokdu had decided to leave, and they stayed for each other until the end.

In the gap between separation, Han Hane-jeol puts on a dress, cooks delicious food, hopes that Kokdu will remember the time with her with a sweet scent, and the sight of Kokdu shedding tears as the season between them passes by too quickly is a sight to see. It even brought tears to my eyes.

Now ready to wake up from a dream he should not have had, Kokdu dragged his inevitable enemy, Kim Pil-su, to his death. Kim Pil-soo provoked him into stabbing his chest with a hairpin. Meanwhile, Han Hane-jeol sensed that Kokdu was planning to die, and desperately ran towards Kokdu.
