Seo Jun-young, “My dream of becoming a ‘young father’ comes true”

On the 23rd, an online production presentation for KBS1's new daily drama 'Golden, Okja' was held. Director Kim Jung-min and actors Shin Ye-eun, Ryeowoon, Kang Hoon, Jeong Geon-ju, Oh Man-seok, and Han Chae-ah attended. Director Choi Ji-young, Seo Jun-young, Yoon Da-young, Kim Si-hoo, Choi Jong-hwan, Song Chae-hwan, Lee Eung-kyung, Kim Young-ho, Choi Jae-won, Lee Yun-seong, Choi Phillip, Kang Da-hyeon, and Kim Si-eun attended.
Seo Jun-young played the role of Geumgang-san, a single dad with a strong lifestyle. Dayoung Yoon appears as Ok Mi-rae, an adopted child who was adopted into the Hwangdong Food family. Kim Si-hoo played Dong Joo-hyuk, who is polite but hides a cool coldness behind him.
In addition, Choi Jong-hwan plays the role of Dong Gyu-cheol, Dong Joo-hyuk's father and the ambitious owner of Hwangdong Food. Song Chae-hwan will play the role of Ma Hong-do, Geumgang-san's mother-in-law and a powerful figure at Hong-done's side dish shop, and Lee Eung-kyung will show off her wealth of experience as Hwang Chan-ran, Ok Mi-rae's adoptive mother and the unmarried only daughter of the chairman of Hwangdong Food. Kim Young-ho gives a lively and passionate performance as Kim Doo-ho, a baker who lives in the doorway of Mahong-dong, and Choi Jae-won shows off his powerful acting skills as Geum Seon-dal, the free-spirited father of Geumgangsan.
In addition, Lee Yoon-seong plays Dong Gyu-seon, the younger brother of Dong Gyu-cheol, a blameless but cute old miss, and Choi Phillip plays Eun Sang-soo, the eldest son-in-law who monopolizes the love of his mother-in-law, Ma Hong-do. Kang Da-hyun is expected to add vitality to the drama as Geum Jan-di, the daughter of Geumgang-san and the beginning of middle school illness, which is said to be scarier than compatible moms.
Seo Jun-young said, “I am 37 years old this year. Friends my age said, ‘I want to become a young father.’ But hasn’t it already passed? There is no way a daughter like this exists. “After reading the script, I thought I could finally do it,” he said, explaining the reason for his appearance. Next, I met my daughter (Kim Si-eun, who plays Geum Jan-di) and she said ‘daddy’ in a cute and pretty way. “I’m happy right now and it feels like a dream,” he said.
'It's Gold, It's Ok' is a delightful and heartwarming story of a family growing up while raising a child, Geumgang-san, a single dad, and Ok Mi-rae, an adopted child. Starting from the 27th, it will be broadcast every Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM.
