On this day's broadcast, Geumgangsan evoked pity with his appearance as a single dad who was busy with everything from delivering to a side dish store to taking care of his disobedient daughter in the second year of middle school. Even though Ok Mirae celebrated her birthday, she was not welcomed by her family except for her adoptive mother, Hwang Chan-ran (played by Lee Eung-kyung), because she was an adopted child. Moreover, Ok Mirae was late for an interview at an art academy because she was unable to take the elevator due to claustrophobia, adding to curiosity about what kind of story there was.

While dancing on her way home from school, Geum Jan-di bumped into Ok Mi-rae's nephew, Ok Jun-pyo (played by Kim Ha-gyeom). Ok Jun-pyo mentioned Geum Jan-di's runaway mother and provoked Geum Jan-di, leading to a heated fight between the two. As a result, Geum Jan-di's grandmother, Ma Hong-do (played by Song Chae-hwan), was called to the school and tried to resolve the children's fight.

However, Jun-pyo's mother (played by Jo Hyang-gi) aroused Ma Hong-do's anger by making a disparaging remark toward Geum Jan-di, saying, "It's obvious that people grew up without a mother," and it turned into an adult fight. In particular, just when Ma Hong-do was pulling Jun-pyo's mother's hair, Geumgang-san came rushing in and had her hair ripped out by Mah Hong-do instead of Jun-pyo's mother.
