Netflix series 'Iduna!' Director Lee Jeong-hyo, who directed the film, returns with a youth romance.

‘Lee Doo-na!’ is the story of an ordinary college student, Won-jun (played by Yang Se-jong), who meets Doona (played by Su-ji), who has retired from her glamorous K-pop idol days in a share house. Director Lee Jeong-hyo, who has been recognized for his sophisticated sensibility and detailed directing skills in dramas such as 'Crash Landing on You', 'Romance is a Bonus Book', 'I Need Romance 2012', 'Life on Mars', and 'The Good Wife', is making a comeback with 'Duna Lee!' do.

After seeing the original webtoon, director Lee Jeong-hyo said, "I thought it realistically portrayed the times when I was awkward in relationships," and decided to direct it, saying, "I hope 'Lee Doo-na!' will be a work that beautifully remembers 'my awkward 20s.'" The reason was revealed. Director Lee Jeong-hyo, who detailed the process of Doona and Wonjun, who lived in different universes, gradually becoming fully immersed in each other's world, said of the two characters, "Doona is a person who took a completely different path from her friends of her age." “Wonjun is a person who thinks of his family and runs forward only while he envies the innocence of his friends, but also worries, ‘Will I really be able to go to that world?’” “Wonjun is a person who only looks ahead and runs forward. It was like a car accident and ruined his 20s. “I grew up after meeting Doona, who taught me well,” he explained.

Director Lee Jeong-hyo, who created the characters by carefully considering their backgrounds, personalities, and thoughts, allowed viewers to naturally become immersed in the emotional changes of the two people. In addition, through 'Iduna!', not only romance, but also the image of youth itself, each living with their own worries in complex relationships, was depicted. Director Lee Jeong-hyo focused on a story that anyone who has passed their youth can sympathize with, in order to create "a work that is not only pretty and beautiful, but also allows me to look back on my love life and past dark history and talk about it with my friends."
