Current location of propofol addicted to Yoo Ah-in revealed

While actor Yoo Ah-in is causing a stir in the entertainment industry by habitually taking propofol, the current status of propofol has been revealed.

In the trailer for TV Chosun's 'Investigative Reporting Seven' released on the 6th, the shocking reality of hospitals selling propofol was revealed.

An informant who said he had been taking propofol illegally for 10 years exposed the hospital's business methods to reporters. The informant said, “The doctor himself covered the CCTV with a post-it note and told us to be quiet.” “How much is one bottle, OK?” “If you circle OK, propofol will be given,” he explained.

He then surprised people by saying, "How much is a bottle of propofol? If you go around like this, you will be punished by law, so he even asked me to give you a bottle of propofol."

Propofol, as revealed by informants, costs 300,000 won per bottle. Accordingly, if the capacity increases, the price skyrockets. One addict said, “I go to the hospital with 10 million won, leave 5 million won in my bag, and start by giving 500 won. At first, I take one bottle, but it gradually increases to 20 bottles a day.” He continued, “If you keep going, sometimes he tells you to go, he’s a grasshopper. You know he’s coming again tomorrow anyway,” and “Then, if you don’t go, he calls me because he’s worried and tells me to come tomorrow when he’s free.”

Another informant added, "If you give the hospital director a hotel meal voucher or something like that, he'll accept it and say it's okay, but he'll give it to you one more time."

An insider at another hospital also revealed, “Propofol solicitation is directly related to hospital sales and employee salaries.”

Meanwhile, reporters visited B Plastic Surgery Clinic and C Dermatology Clinic, which Yoo Ah-in visited, to report on Yoo Ah-in's use of propofol, but the hospitals turned away. B Plastic Surgery drew a line, saying, “There is no record of Yoo Ah-in’s visit.” C Dermatology acknowledged the fact that Yoo Ah-in underwent the procedure, but emphasized that it had nothing to do with propofol.

Previously, it was revealed that Yoo Ah-in administered propofol approximately 73 times over the course of a year at hospitals in Gangnam and Yongsan, Seoul in 2021.
