Sangjin Han "I took care of Gongjindan while filming 'How's Your Marriage 2'?"
On the 17th, an online production presentation was held for the SBS Plus entertainment show 'How's Your Marriage?' (hereinafter referred to as 'Party Resolution 2'). MCs Park Eun-hye, Han Sang-jin, Jeong Hyeok and SBS Plus production team leader Lee Yang-hwa attended.
‘Single Mom’ Park Eun-hye and ‘Unmarried Man’ Jeong Hyeok, who have been MCs since the first season, will be together for the second season. Here, Han Sang-jin, a ‘married man of 20 years’, was newly introduced. In the first season, the MCs watched the couples' camp in the studio on a VCR, but from the second season, they directly visited the camp site to interact more deeply and provide solutions.
‘Danggyeolan 2’ features three couples who are facing a red light in their marriage. The 'red couple' met in January 2019 and married in August of that year, but filed for divorce in December of last year and reached the threshold of separation. The wife is dissatisfied with her husband's interference and contact so severe that she is suspected of being suspicious of him, and the husband is dissatisfied with his wife's verbal abuse. The 'Blue Couple' is a couple who have been married for 14 years and run a chicken restaurant together, and are experiencing problems with habitual communication breakdown and inability to communicate. The wife is tired of her husband's skinship that is instinctive and not affectionate, and the husband is disappointed that his wife does not approach him first. The 'Yellow Couple', who have been married for 4 years, decided to appear in the second season of 'Party Resolution' following MBC's 'Marriage Hell' with the feeling that they were about to make the 'last choice'. The two, who were also called the 'fire and water couple', continue to clash due to the wife's helplessness in everything and the husband's tendency to go to extremes because he is angry with his wife.
Sangjin Han said, “I’ve enjoyed watching it since the first season, and I’m grateful that I was able to participate in person. I can share what I have felt in my life, but it is also a time for me to learn. “Not only those who are married or preparing for marriage will be able to look into the meaning of life,” he said. Park Eun-hye said, “‘Party Resolution’ finished season 1 and returned for season 2. The concept has changed a lot. It will be fun and easy to approach. “You will sympathize more,” he said. Jeong Hyuk said, “I think he is the representative non-married person among celebrities. I thought I would do the first season and not the second season. I thought it had nothing to do with marriage. However, I thought there was a lot of interest in non-marriage. “This time, together, we have come back stronger, the so-called ‘Maramat,’” he announced.
Production team leader Lee Yang-hwa said, “The production team had many meetings to recruit Han Sang-jin. Through repeated meetings, deliberations, and reports, we decided to bring in Han Sang-jin after going through a difficult process within the company. An MC had to be brought in on set, and I thought it was absolutely necessary in many ways. “Han Sang-jin and Park Eun-hye were so close that I wondered what Jeong-hyeok would do if he felt left out.” Jeonghyeok said, “I didn’t feel left out. “It was like, ‘Mom, Dad, stop fighting,’” he said, laughing. Han Sang-jin expressed his resentment, saying, “There is not much of an age difference between me and Jeong-hyeok, but they keep calling me mom and dad.” Park Eun-hye said, “Han Sang-jin said that the basic phone call lasts for 1 hour. I heard that Sangjin Han goes to a cafe for the third time with his close friends. “I can only continue with words,” he said, conveying Han Sang-jin’s talkative side. Sangjin Han said, “I like listening to other people’s stories, and I don’t move on from what I hear. Talking about it also helps me. “I am eating Gongjindan, which I didn’t eat during the filming of the drama, while filming ‘Danggyeolan,’” he said with a laugh.
Sangjin Han said, “I contacted Eunhye Park during Season 1 and told her that it was fun. He said it was different from the couple programs he had seen before. Park Eun-hye also said that she felt a lot and had fun on set. While we were talking like that, one day, by chance, a casting call came in from the production team, and I thought something was coming. I am grateful for the role in the drama, and I have also hosted several entertainment programs, but ‘Party Resolution’ is the program I wanted to do. As soon as I heard about it, I said I would do it within a minute, but I heard there were a lot of meetings internally. After participating, I feel like I did a good job. When it comes to living as a couple, I study and receive more at 'Danggyeolan' House. I have a lot more to gain. I become more stable, kinder, and more positive. “Viewers will also have more positive thoughts when they see the ‘party resolution,’” he said. Park Eun-hye made people laugh by saying, “When we reach the 5th or 6th stage, wouldn’t it be a good idea to check with my wife to see how much Han Sang-jin has changed?” Also, regarding Jeong Hyeok, a non-married person, he said, “It is better to do it and then come back than not to do it at all,” causing laughter.
‘Party Resolution 2’ is a reality show that examines marital relationships to find happiness for couples struggling with various conflicts. It will be aired for the first time on SBS Plus and SmileTV Plus at 10 PM on the 18th.
