The real culprit in the ‘Young Tak Murder Case’ is Choo Young-woo.

On the 17th, KBS 2TV's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Oasis' featured the story of Lee Du-hak (played by Jang Dong-yoon) appearing in front of his lover Oh Jung-shin (played by Seol In-ah) and confessing his past history with Choi Cheol-woong (played by Choo Young-woo). Seong-shin tries to dissuade Doo-hak from revenge in order not to lose him, but Doo-hak approaches the dangerous man Oh Man-ok (played by Jin Yi-han) to put everything back in order, raising the tension. According to Nielsen Korea, the 13th episode of 'Oasis', which aired on this day, had a viewership rating of 6.8% nationwide and 6.4% in the metropolitan area, ranking first in its time slot across all channels as well as the 13th consecutive Monday-Tuesday drama. The scene that recorded the highest viewership rating per minute was 'the scene in which Jung-shin interrogates Cheol-woong about the truth about the past murder case of Yeong-tak', which soared to 8.1% nationwide.
In episode 12, Doo-hak returned to his homeland after three years as a person named 'Lee Hyeong-guk' with the help of Chae Dong-pal (played by Kim Byeong-gi), a tycoon of the underground economy among Koreans living in Japan. He gathered his colleagues and quietly increased his power. He found the hit-and-run criminal of his father Lee Jung-ho (played by Kim Myung-soo) and found out that Man-ok was behind it. In addition, Doo-hak appeared in front of the longed-for spirit, and the reunion of the two touched viewers.
Doo-hak revealed to Jeong-sin that the reason he could not appear was because of Cheol-woong. He told Jung-shin, who could not believe what he was saying, the voice of the hit-and-run criminal who killed his father, and showed him a photo of Man-ok, the person behind the incident. When Jeong-sin defended Cheol-woong, saying that it couldn't be like that, Doo-hak hit the table with his fist and poured out his anger. Then, he confessed that the real culprit of Ki Young-tak's (Jang Young-jun) murder case was Cheol-woong and the reason why he was wrongfully imprisoned, shocking the mind.
The spirit was worried about Duhak, who was consumed by anger, and tried to dissuade him from taking revenge. In response, Duhak expressed his disappointment, saying, “Is Cheolwoong worried now?” The spirit reminded him of what he said to Doo-hak, who was bleeding after being stabbed in a gang fight in the past, and shouted, "Your place is right where it was. You said you loved me, and you said you could give up everything for me." Duhak was distressed by the unexpected appearance of the spirit.
Doo-hak used Man-ok, the ‘hunting dog’ of the Cheol-woong family, to slowly dig into their gap. He sent a letter containing Man-ok's corruption to Cheol-woong, igniting a confrontation between the two. Man-ok warned Cheol-woong, who was trying to take off her clothes, "Everyone has a Pandora's box deep in their heart that should not be opened." In addition, he put pressure on Kang Yeo-jin (played by Kang Kyung-heon), who excluded him from the business, by showing him a letter from Joong-ho containing the secret about Cheol-woong's birth and a test report containing the results of a paternity discrepancy between Cheol-woong and Hwang Chung-seong (played by Jeon No-min).
Cheol-woong and Yeo-jin had no choice but to protect Man-ok as she went on a rampage after learning all the secrets. Duhak, who tried to take revenge righteously, ended up kidnapping Manok. Doo-hak pointed the gun at his own head and then pointed the gun at the head of Man-ok, who had also shot him. Doohak's eyes were filled with anger as he gave a sharp warning, "How would it feel to be killed by your own gun?"
The spirit that summoned Cheolwoong mentioned Duhak and Cheolwoong’s past and asked, “Did you kill (Duhak’s father)?” Joong-ho, who knew the secret, died, and Cheol-woong, who did not know whether Du-hak was alive or dead, denied the truth until the end and committed evil. The struggles of those who revealed their ugly faces in the face of the inevitable truth signaled the beginning of the exciting revenge that will unfold in the future.
