Jeon Mi-gang's father Jeon Sang-cheol (played by Jeong Han-yong) was already monitoring his son-in-law Kang Chi-hwan's every move. Anxiety, like a time bomb not knowing when it would explode, was slowly suffocating Kang Chi-hwan.

Kang Chi-hwan, who firmly believed that Yoon I-chang's children were his bloodline, gave his young daughter the name Kang Se-na (played by Kim Tae-yeon) and cherished her. Na Jeong-im (played by Jo Eun-sook), who saw Lee Soon-young's final moments, was angry at Kang Chi-hwan's duplicative side, but did not reveal the truth. It was because there was no way to know what the ruthless Kang Chi-hwan would do if he found out that Lee Soon-young and his daughter were alive. Unlike Kang Se-na, who receives the love of her family, Lee Hae-in's appearance, living bravely and brightly at Jaaewon despite being separated from her parents, was heartbreaking.
