Kang Han-soo and Lee Yeon-ju (played by Kim Ji-yeon), who were attacked by an assassin, comforted each other's wounds. Meanwhile, Kang Han-su confessed, “I will never again unfairly lose someone precious to me,” and kissed Yeon-joo’s lips.

Attention was drawn to whether the relationship between the two could be maintained even after Lee Yeon-ju's identity was revealed. Lee Yeon-joo revealed her feelings for Kang Han-soo by asking him about Yoo Ji-seon (played by Cha Hak-yeon) entrusting Kang Han-soo with the Chu Doryeong (played by Jo Min-gyu) case. Yoo Ji-seon lowered her head and could not hide her mixed feelings.

Lee Bong-sam suffered serious injuries after being tortured in connection with the memorial incident, and soon confessed that he killed Kang Chil-gu, taking the incident in an unexpected direction. Lee Bong-sam changed his mind after learning the true feelings of his wife and son Yong (played by Lee Joo-won). With the help of Kang Han-soo, we decided to retrial. Chu Doryeong, overcome with anger, visited Kang Han-soo and behaved violently. He was fooled by Kang Han-su's speech and even confessed. In the end, Choo Do-ryeong was executed, and Choo Young-woo, angry at Yoo Je-se (played by Cheon Ho-jin) for abandoning him, threatened him with a bribe ledger. Chu Young-woo, who was shedding bloody tears in front of the tomb of Chudoryeong, rushed to strangle Yu Je-se when Yu Je-se came, but Yu Je-se stabbed Choo Young-woo with a knife and ultimately met his end.

At the end of the broadcast, a meaningful meeting between Kang Han-soo's younger sister Eun-soo (played by Han So-eun) and Yoo Je-se was depicted. Yoo Je-se said to Eun-su, "Would you like to meet? Or will you do what you promised at first?", making people curious about the story behind the two people.
