Moon Young-mi's mother was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 90. Moon Young-mi went ahead with her mother's surgery despite the opposition from those around her. He said, "I couldn't see her in pain. She lived another 7 years after the surgery. And when she turned 93, dementia set in. My mother's changes were subtle. But only I knew, and no one else knew.
