EXO Sehun, ‘Everything We Loved’ that made me remember when I was 18

Oh Se-hoon (EXO Se-hun) becomes an 18-year-old high school student and falls in love for the first time. This is the story of TVING's original series 'Everything We Loved Before'. Oh Se-hoon said that he was attracted to the character who was good at everything and had good relationships with friends.

On the 3rd, an online production presentation for TVING's original series 'Everything We Loved' was held. Director Kim Jin-seong and actors Oh Se-hoon, Jo Joon-young, and Jang Yeo-bin attended.

'Everything We've Loved Before' is a teen romance drama about 18-year-old best friends Yoo Yoo (played by Oh Se-hoon) and Go Jun-hee (played by Jo Jun-young), who begin to resemble each other after kidney transplant surgery, but simultaneously fall for transfer student Han So-yeon (played by Jang Yeo-bin). It is based on cellular memory syndrome (a symptom that occurs in organ transplant recipients, where the personality or habits of the donor are transferred).

Director Kim said, "What I was looking for to differentiate it from existing teen dramas is Cellular Memory Syndrome. Unlike regular teen romances, I gave it a fantasy feel. I also tried to maximize the bromance between the two male actors. It is not a device that can maximize the drama. “I think it was,” he explained. He went on to point out the difference, saying, “While existing high-teen romances are focused on young people, ours includes grandmothers and parents’ generations, making it possible to encompass all generations.”

Oh Se-hoon played the role of Go Yoo, Hara's self-proclaimed basketball genius. Oh Se-hoon expressed his feelings about the release of the work, saying, "It was an honor to be able to film a good work with the director and actors. I was happy every moment of filming."

Oh Se-hoon said, "It was fun when I first read the script. I looked at Go Yoo's character closely, and I saw that he was an attractive person with various sides. Regarding the casting of Oh Se-hoon, Director Kim said, "We put a lot of effort into it to make it reminiscent of Operation 007. I only thought about his charismatic appearance, but when we first met, he had a bright and unique side to him. Yoo Yoo is also cute and mischievous. I thought he was a cool person, but when I met people around me, I realized that he had a bright personality." Oh Se-hoon, who played the role of an 18-year-old high school student, said, "It's been a while since I wore a school uniform. I wore it a lot while filming. Filming at school made me feel like I was back when I was an 18-year-old high school student. Even though it was filming, sometimes I felt like I was playing with my friends. I laughed without thinking. “I filmed it,” he said. When asked whether he preferred the gym or the nurse's office as a place to skip school during his school days, Oh Se-hoon chose the gym. Oh Se-hoon laughed and said, “I once hit a ball at the gym.”

Jo Joon-young plays Go Joon-hee, who undergoes internal changes before and after kidney transplant surgery. Jo Jun-young said, "I had never heard of a disease called cellular memory syndrome before I started this work. I learned about it through this work. I was worried about how Jun-hee, who received a kidney transplant from Go Yoo, should act and what facial expressions she should make. Jun-hee was completely “Rather than becoming Go Yoo, I basically made it feel like I added a drop of Go Yoo to what Junhee had,” he said.

Jo Jun-young said about the character, "Jun-hee is like an ordinary model student. He may seem aloof and blunt, but he suffered from pain when he was young. He has matured because of that. Jang Yeo-bin played Han So-yeon, a transfer student who stole the hearts of two boys. Jang Yeo-bin said, "I was very surprised. It was like a dream" upon hearing the casting news. He said, "I wondered if it was real. When I woke up, I thought I had dreamed it. I was grateful and happy beyond words."

Jang Yeo-bin introduced the character, saying, "He appears cold and secretive. When he meets Yoo Yoo and Go Jun-hee, he laughs and his ordinary daily life becomes special." In the play, Han So-yeon falls in love with two men. Jang Yeo-bin laughed, saying, "When I first read the script, I thought I might be more attracted to Jun-hee. After filming, I got to know the charms of a friend named Go Yoo and got to see Go Yoo in real life, so I thought So-yeon might be more attracted to Go Yoo." Jang Yeo-bin, an 18-year-old high school student in the play, said, "I didn't want to wear the school uniform during my school days, but now that I'm an adult, I want to wear it."

When asked if there was a qualifier she wanted to get, Jang Yeo-bin shyly said, "I am cautiously 'icon of first love.'"

When asked if there was anything that reminded him of his high school days, Oh Se-hoon replied, "When I was in high school, I was a trainee. I had to listen to songs, so I always carried an mp3 with me." Jo Jun-young said, "I carried training clothes in my bag. I went to school wearing my school uniform, wore my school uniform, and then went to work and changed into training clothes." Jang Yeo-bin said, "These are string earphones.
