Netflix confirms release of ‘Hounds of Dogs’ on June 9

'The Hounds' is the story of two young men caught up in the world of loan sharking, where money comes before human life, risking their lives against a great force of evil.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, 'The Hounds' follows Geon-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-i), who are confident in their fists, and run a notorious illegal loan shark business that reigns above the law along with retired private loan industry legend President Choi (Heo Jun-ho). Now, we confront Myung-gil (Park Seong-woong).
According to Netflix on the 12th, Woo Do-hwan plays Gun-woo, a boxing prospect with a strong sincerity and consideration, and Lee Sang-i plays Woo-jin, a sly but affectionate character, heralding fresh chemistry and explosive synergy. Geon-woo and Woo-jin, who first met in the finals of the boxing rookie of the year contest, immediately become closer due to their pure passion for boxing and their common background in the Marine Corps. The two amazingly just and recklessly brave people become hounds for illegal loan sharks after an unfortunate incident that happened to Geon-wu's mother and throw a punch at the unreasonable world.
However, Netflix is attracting attention by omitting the explanation of the role of Hyeon-joo, one of the main characters played by Kim Sae-ron, who recently caused controversy after being accused of drunk driving. In some quarters, the possibility of total editing was raised, but given the importance of the character in question, it was not revealed at all, and an official said that the decision was made to minimize exposure.
The main poster released on this day shows the burning will of Geon-wu and Woo-jin, who stand up with only their two fists against the great forces of evil in the cruel world of private debt. In the first trailer, you can get a glimpse of the action-packed action of two young men who dreamed of becoming boxers, using their spicy fists as weapons to face off against the vicious forces of a private loan shark.
