Kim So-yeon and Lee Dong-wook knew the truth

In the 5th episode of tvN's Saturday and Sunday drama 'The Tale of a Gumiho' (director Kang Shin-hyo, script Han Woo-ri), which aired on the 20th, Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) and Ryu Hong-joo (Kim So-yeon) were drawn. The meaningful ending of Chun Moo-young (played by Ryu Kyung-soo) who appeared in front of Lee Yeon with the prophecy that he would get lost made me more curious about the future development.
The 5th episode recorded an average of 6.7% and a maximum of 7.9% for households in the metropolitan area, and an average of 5.5% and a maximum of 6.7% for households nationwide, ranking first in the same time slot including cable and comprehensive channels. In terms of viewer ratings for men and women 2049, which is the target of tvN, it continued to respond positively, ranking first in the same time slot including cable and comprehensive channels, with an average of 3.1% and a maximum of 3.7% in the metropolitan area and a national average of 3.0% and a maximum of 3.5%. On this day, the 'gumiho' brothers Lee Yeon and Lee Rang (played by Kim Beom) set out to protect 'Miho', the workman. They showed their spiciness to detectives from the Jongno Police Station who visited Myoyeongak to find a child with the constellation of the Big Dipper on their forehead. Yiyeon was vaguely aware of Miho's strength, but the ability she heard through Lee Rang was beyond her imagination. Miho, a child who guesses the place where wealth is located with 100 feet, 100 points, was the 'up god' that brings wealth. Yiyeon wonders if it is really safe for Miho to be in Myoyeongak with a bounty on her while Hongbaektal is targeting her.
Then a problem arose. Miho disappeared. Gato Ryuhei (played by Ha Do-kwon), head of the police department of the Japanese Government-General of Korea, took Nancho (played by Na Hyun), a gisaeng from Myoyeongak, as a hostage and threatened Ryu Hong-joo to bring her child. In response, Ryu Hong-ju took the child to protect the orchid and Myoyeon-gak. Myoyeon-gak was upset, and Yoo Jae-yu (played by Han Geon-yu), Ryu Hong-joo's faithful bodyguard, only told Yi-yeon that he would tell Yi-yeon where the child was if he brought her an orchid.
But this was a trick. Ryu Hong-ju, who couldn't bear to go, asked Lee Yeon and Lee Rang for help. While Lee Rang disguised herself as Miho to pass the time, Yiyeon decided to search for the kidnapped orchid. The operation was a great success. Lee Yeon infiltrated the Jongno Police Station with Goo Shin-ju (played by Hwang Hee) and rescued an orchid just before being transferred. Ryu Hong-ju, who noticed that the orchid was safe with the thunder signal sent by Lee Yeon, defeated the forces frantic to find the gold mine with Lee Rang.
The moment of parting also came. Since he is a god who controls desire, Miho, the 'God of Up', appeared in the human world in the form of the purest child and left with his guardian. As she left Myoyeongak, Miho handed over the Big Dipper constellation that had been engraved on her forehead to Yiyeon. to find a way through it. An unexpected guest appeared in front of Lee Yeon, who was deep in thought. The appearance of his old friend Cheon Moo-young made him happy for a while, but the appearance of Lee Yeon's day, "Are you a red and white mask?", heightened the sense of crisis.
On the other hand, Ryu Hong-joo promised not to just watch the fight between Lee Yeon and Chun Moo-young. Hong-joo Ryu, who had doubts about his friends who showed up at the same time and changed somewhere. He left for Manchuria to learn the truth, and was bittersweet when he saw Yi-yeon in 1938, who was having a hard time forgetting his 'first love' Ah-eum (played by Jo Bo-ah), but he knew what he had to do. After reporting the news that Cheon Moo-young had returned alive, Ryu Hong-ju turned around and made up his mind, saying that he would not avoid this fight.
The second date between Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-hee, who met as a life saver, was also drawn. Jang Yeo-hee, seeing another woman flirting with Lee Rang, who came to the bar to grant her wish, exploded with jealousy and destroyed everything with a strange sound wave. Jang Yeo-hee, who was intimidated by the fact that her opponent would not like this, praised Lee Rang for having strong fighting power. Sensing the presence of Lee Yeon and Gu Shin-joo, Lee Rang, who secretly watched the scene, ran away with Jang Yeo-hee, and the sense of distance between them gave excitement. Here, the appearance of Gu Shin-joo, who was grateful for the opportunity to wash away his debt and engage in the independence movement, added a touch of emotion.
As expected by Ryu Hong-joo, Lee Yeon and Chun Moo-yeong are from different eras. Chun Moo-young, who wears a mask in a red and white mask and drags Yi-yeon to the era of the lost treasure 'Geumcheok', who stole the 'Guardian Stone', which is the border of the Samdo-seok, is not in good shape. As the curse of the Undressing Clan, he still had half a crack in his body, and he went looking for King Odo Jeonryun (played by Lim Ki-hong) to get his body back. It made me curious about what kind of result Cheon Moo-young's risky transaction would bring, and why he appeared in front of Lee Yeon after taking off his red and white mask.
