Jang Na-ra X Jang Hyuk, 'Family' Ends Slowly with 3.2%

'Family' ended on the 23rd with 12 episodes. In the 12th episode of 'Family', Kwon Do-hoon (played by Jang Hyuk) and Kang Yoo-ra (played by Jang Na-ra) joined forces to protect their family. After learning that not only Mo Tae-il (Park Ji-il) was involved behind Jo Tae-gu (Kim Nam-hee), but also Lee Jung-mook (Cha In-pyo), the "Director of the National Intelligence Service", he headed to the NIS to punish him. At that time, the MGD killers sent by Lee Jung-mook, who pointed Yura as the final target, attacked with guns, but Yura, along with Do-hoon, who joined just in time, took care of the killers at once with perfect coordination, drawing admiration. Afterwards, Dohun and Yura said, "Family is the most important thing," holding each other's hands and showing affection.
Oh Cheon-ryun (played by Chae Jung-an) handed over Mo Tae-il, who had been handed over from Tae-goo, to the upper management in order to stand him on the judiciary, but Mo Tae-il was killed by the killer. When Do-hoon tried to catch Lee Jeong-muk, who was trying to escape abroad, the upper management pressured him into holding his family hostage, and Lee Jung-muk disappeared. Nevertheless, Chun-ryun worked hard to complete the union work by holding the director Lee Jeong-muk with Tae-gu, who returned to Thailand. However, Tae-goo ended up being killed by the killer, which made him sad.
Afterwards, Dohun submitted a letter of resignation to the NIS in order to erase Yura's fear of losing his family again and to start a stable family. Accordingly, in the ending, the two people who returned to their happy daily life again at the restaurant where they met for the first time while visiting Thailand to commemorate Yura's adoptive parents were included.
'Family' reminds us of the trust and importance of family through the process of 'NIS black agent' Do-hoon and 'Killer wife' Yura, who have been hiding their identities, getting to know each other's true identity and joining forces to protect their family. In the play, Dohun and Yura's couple lived ordinary lives, facing each other as enemies with a target in between, and were shocked to learn each other's true identity. However, Do-hoon heard about Yura's past, who was raised as a killer by the state and then abandoned when the government changed and lost her adoptive parents.
The reason why Yura summoned her killer instinct again was her family, and she shed tears in fear of losing her family, causing regret. In the last episode, despite knowing each other's reality, the happy couple Do-hoon and Yura, who became stronger with firm faith and love, were drawn, making them feel the importance of family.
This work was expected to be the fourth work in which Jang Na-ra and Jang Hyuk work together, but the viewership ratings left a disappointment. According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast on this day recorded 3.2% viewer ratings based on paid households nationwide.
