Director Kim Joo-hwan, who directed the Netflix series 'Hounds', mentioned the amount of Kim Sae-ron, who caused controversy for 'drunk driving'.

On the morning of the 7th, the production presentation of the Netflix series 'Hounds' was held at the Naru Ballroom on the 2nd floor of MGallery in Hotel Naru Seoul. Actors Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang, Park Sung-woong, and director Kim Joo-hwan attended the event.

'Hounds' is a story about two young men caught up in the world of loan sharks, where money comes before people's lives, risking their lives against a huge evil force. It is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name.

Director Kim Joo-hwan, who directed the films 'Youth Police', 'Lion', and 'Puppy', took the megaphone. The story of two young men who jumped into the world of illegal loans with bare fists led them to direct the first series. After 'Lion', I got to work with Woo Do-hwan for the second time.

In particular, Kim Sae-ron, who caused controversy for drunk driving, also appeared in 'Hounds'. In May of last year, while filming 'Hounds', Kim Sae-ron was driving drunk at Hak-dong Intersection in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and crashed several times into roadside trees and transformers. The court sentenced Kim Sae-ron to a fine of 20 million won. According to Netflix, Kim Sae-ron's length is not edited.

On this day, director Kim Joo-hwan said, "Actually, I thought a lot." He said, "I put a lot of effort into minimizing the inconvenience. A lot of people put in thousands or tens of thousands of hours to complete the work."

He added, "In order not to do that, the story had to be intact. So I did my best to improve the completeness while minimizing (actor Kim Sae-ron's amount)."

'Hounds' will be released in 190 countries around the world through Netflix on the 9th.
