Actress Park Gyu-ri, a former member of the girl group Kara, expressed her feelings about participating in 'RU Next'.

On the morning of the 30th, a production presentation for JTBC's new variety show 'R U Next?' was held at the Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Producers Yeji Lee, Producer Seonhyung Kim, Sooyoung Choi, Gyuri Park, Hyun Lee, Kwon Jo, and Aiki attended the event.

'R U Next' is a survival program that selects members of Hive Labels' next girl group. It contains the process of 22 trainees from Belief Lab participating in a total of 7 round missions, which are essential gateways to becoming an idol.

Choi Soo-young will host the program as a single MC. Gyuri Park, Hyun Lee, Kwon Jo, Jaehwan Kim, and Aiki will serve as coaches.

On this day, Park Gyu-ri said, "To be honest, when I was a trainee, I didn't receive as much care as I do now. Looking at the Hive trainees, I thought they were receiving systematic and well-organized care. I think," he said.

He continued, "Looking back on the past, I feel envious. We grew up like wild horses. We grew up like grazing idols. That's why I think the level of perfection of the debuting friends has improved compared to before. I will,” he added.

Park Gyu-ri said, "I also think that the public's standards for idols are rising a lot now. I also thought that I should give advice so that I, who have gone through wild things, can help in that area."

'R U Next' will be broadcast for the first time at 8:50 pm on the 30th.
