Mountain Movement Story begins broadcasting content introducing Korean dramas on OTT in Greater China
Trailer contents were posted on Mountain Movement Story's 'Soon Dumpling PD' channel, which was officially opened on OTT in China on the 5th. Mountain Movement Story plans to launch a PR plan for the channel in Greater China.
Mountain Movement Story expressed their determination, saying, "We are grateful that the current content is being broadcast after passing the screening," and "We will operate slowly, carefully, and accurately."
It means that it will do its best to serve as an upright and stable cultural diplomatic mission between Korea and China. Mountain Movement Story said, "I am happy that the results of the challenge with the idea that culture should not be influenced by anything has come to fruition." He foreshadowed a lot of content to be aired in the future.
In the future, Soonmandu PD Channel plans to introduce a variety of Korean contents to Chinese-speaking countries while playing a role in briefly and strongly appealing Korean dramas and movies and focusing on culture.
Mountain Movement Story said, "The cultural policy that relied on sparkling content or stars is no longer valid in China." He also hinted at the possibility of a blue ocean market, saying, "You have to focus on the content rather than blinding flashy videos to succeed. China already has that function. We are approaching this carefully."
Meanwhile, Mountain Movement Story recently signed a contract with large Chinese OTTs and was granted exclusive brokerage rights to broadcast various Korean contents, and this time, it is discussing drama production with Chinese OTT and broadcasting stations. Mountain Movement Story will start producing a full-fledged drama from July.
