Hwang Min-hyun "I wanted to try a modern romance drama, I met 'Useless Lies'"

On the 12th, tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'It's Useless Lies' released the first still of Kim Do-ha (played by Hwang Min-hyun), a genius composer wrapped in a veil. I wonder why he, who was an ordinary student, became a composer without a face, and Hwang Min-hyun's transformation, who will complete Kim Do-ha, who has a complex inner side, with his own color.
'Useless Lies' is a truth-detecting romance between liar hunter Mok Sol-hee* (played by Kim So-hyun), who cannot trust people because of her ability to hear lies, and Kim Do-ha, a genius composer who hides an unspeakable identity. The romance and mystery unfolding on top of a reality-based fantasy will provide unstoppable fun.

In the published photos, Kim Do-ha's past and present are captured to further stimulate curiosity. First of all, Kim Do-ha's appearance in high school is as fresh as any other peers. There is not a shadow of shade on his face as he reads his textbook in class.
However, the current Kim Do-ha is different. Even while sitting in front of a grand piano and playing, Kim Do-ha does not take off the mask that completely covers her face. His alert eyes show his sensitivity to want to hide and block himself from the outside world. Even at home, the only resting place, living like a shadow adds to the sorrow.
In particular, the solitude hidden in his cold yet empty eyes heightens curiosity about the secret he is hiding. Attention is focusing on what kind of story the life of Kim Do-ha, who went from being an ordinary boy with a lot of dreams to a faceless composer, has changed 180 degrees, and what kind of change Mok Sol-hee, the strange girl next door, will bring to his life.

Regarding Kim Do-ha’s character, “Kim Do-ha hides herself for a long time and lives a life cut off from the outside world, but on the other hand, she is a secretive person who unintentionally leads a double life. There is a hidden secret." He also said, "I meet Mok Sol-hee, who is the only one who believes in me, and slowly change as I come out again. There are sometimes erratic images that are slightly lax and feel awkward in relationships between people, and you will be able to laugh while watching them."
'Useless Lies' will premiere on July 31st.
