Jin Seon-gyu "Special appearance in 'Ghost', as if it comes out a lot compared to the amount"

On the 4th, Jin Seon-kyu shared his thoughts on the end of 'Ghost' and his feelings on appearing in 'Amazing Rumors 2: Counter Punch' through his agency L Julai Entertainment. He said, "It's a pity that the time I spent waiting for the airing date every week is now gone after 'Ghost', which I watched with my family covered in blankets and nervously, is over. I'm very happy just by doing it. Since 'Ghost' is a genre, I was most curious about how viewers would view it, but thank you for loving it more than I thought."
He continued, “I wanted to visually suit the role of San-yeong (Kim Tae-ri)’s father. Among them, the color and texture of her hair, and the color and texture of her hair, so that there would be no sense of difference between Kang-mo’s younger days and the time when his age began to show, I paid a lot of attention to things like Kangmo's outward appearance, which didn't fit well and only focused on research," he added.

Also, "'Goblin' is an unpopular genre called 'Korean occult mystery', but it contains the story of young people who are anxious and sometimes want to give up their will to live. In addition, love and responsibility for family, friendship for friends, It deals with the emotions of ordinary people, such as compassion for others and the inability to turn away from those who are suffering."
Jin Seon-gyu said, “The folklore material in ‘The Devil’ may feel unique, but in fact, I think it has a lot to do with the ordinary aspirations we have in life. In particular, the desire to have a better life for ourselves or loved ones. It seems to be the same as it was then and now. However, when this wind meets anxiety and fear and becomes desire, it transforms into cruel evil habits in 'The Devil', and sometimes does things that it should not be done. It's like accepting a more fearful and evil entity into your life in order to overcome it."
Jin Seon-kyu said, "It seems that the viewers also asked the question, 'What would it be like if it were me?' at the crossroads of choices faced by San-yeong, Kang-mo, and other characters, and deeply empathized with the fears they faced. In the end, I think that everything is a matter of one's own will and choice. I came to think, 'It's still too early to give up hastily because there is hope.'"

Jin Seon-gyu now meets with viewers through 'Amazing Rumors 2: Counter Punch'. He said, "After the first and second parts were released last week, excitement and tension crossed. The character I played in the play is a firefighter who has risked his own life to protect other people's families and lives. As he loses the baby in his belly, he abandons his belief in justice, which he has firmly defended, and is overcome with great anger."
Lastly, "As we saw in 'The Devil', evil has a habit of digging inside when humans are most vulnerable. It feeds on anger and eventually devours people. I think the point to watch will be the change in ' and the relationship with the counters that will change due to that change. Please look forward to it."

A. It's a pity that the time I spent waiting for the airing date every week is now gone after the end of 'Ghosts', which I watched under the blanket with my family. On the one hand, I am very happy just that I was able to finish with a lot of interest and love from viewers. Since 'Ghost' is a genre, I was most curious about how viewers would view it, but I'm grateful that you loved it more than I thought.
Q. What part did you focus on when playing the character?
I wanted him to suit the role of Sanyoung's father visually. Among them, things like the color and texture of her hair so that there is no sense of heterogeneity between Kangmo's youth and the time when his age begins to show, and the appearance of Kangmo's high-mindedness that has been devoted to research without getting along with others for a long time. paid a lot of attention to
Q. It was a special appearance, but the proportion was quite high. Was it discussed with writer Kim Eun-hee in advance? Or did the volume increase while filming?
A. I don't think the amount of script has increased. Except for the first scene of part 1 during the first reading, it was almost a montage, so I was in a position to listen quietly. However, as the characters in the play kept saying my name, it sounded like I was appearing a lot.
Our fellow actors also felt the same way, and we laughed and talked about it. I wonder if the viewers felt the same way. People around me told me a lot that they were watching very well compared to the amount of filming.
Q. Overturning the expectation that the genre would not fit on the airwaves, it captured both box office success and workmanship. What do you think is the charm of demons? What story do you want to tell your viewers?
A. Wouldn't it be empathy? 'Demon' is an unpopular genre called 'Korean occult mystery', but it contains the story of young people who are anxious and sometimes want to give up their will to live. In addition, it deals with the emotions of ordinary people, such as love and responsibility for family, friendship for friends, compassion for others, and a heart that cannot turn away from those who suffer.
The folklore material in 'The Devil' may feel unique, but in fact, I think it has a lot to do with the ordinary aspirations we have in life. The desire to have a better life, especially for myself or for those I love, seems to be the same as it was in the past.
However, when this desire meets anxiety and fear and becomes a desire, it transforms into a cruel evil habit in 'The Devil', and sometimes does something that shouldn't be done. In the play, Kangmo also accepts a more fearful and evil being into her life in order to overcome her fear of going blind.
It seems that viewers also asked the question, 'What would it be like if it were me?' at the crossroads of choices faced by Sanyoung, Kangmo, and other characters, and deeply empathized with the fears they faced. In the end, everything is your own will and your choice. I thought, 'It's still too early to give up hastily because there is hope'.
Q. A word of thanks to the fellow actors, staff, and director you worked with.
A. I am very, very grateful to writer Kim Eun-hee who wrote the character Guo-mo well in the work, and our cute director Lee Jeong-lim and cinematographer Hong Seung-hyeok who made it easier for me to act more comfortably than anyone else at the filming site I went to when I was about to forget it. Thank you so much to all the staff. And above all, our Sanyoung, who told me my name the most, and Jeong Se-hyung, Kyungi, Wonhae, and all the other actors, there weren’t many scenes where we faced each other and acted together, but while watching the drama, I felt like I was filled with a sense of camaraderie. I was very happy that I was breathing with good actors in a good work.
Q. What can you expect from your next work, 'Wonderful Rumors 2'?
A. After the first and second parts were released last week, excitement and tension crossed. In the play, the character I played is a firefighter who has risked his own life to protect the lives and families of others. As he loses his wife and baby in a real estate fraud case, he abandons his belief in justice and is overcome with great anger.
As we saw in 'The Devil', evil has a habit of penetrating into humans when they are most vulnerable. He feeds on his anger and eventually devours people, but the point of observation will be the inner change that the good-natured president's anger will bring and the relationship with the counters that will change due to that change. Please look forward to it.
