TWS Returns with 'NO TRAGEDY': A Journey of Love and Self-Discovery

The group TWS (Tours) has returned with their 5th mini-album 'NO TRAGEDY', portraying six young men who carve their own destinies and seize love. TWS (Shin Yoo, Do Hoon, Young Jae, Han Jin, Ji Hoon, Kyung Min) showcased their 'youthful Romeos' persona at a media showcase held at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 27th, demonstrating their resilience against despair and crafting their own happy endings.
The title track 'You You' is a refreshing romance song filled with youthful energy. It blends TWS's unique musical style with a house-influenced R&B vibe. The lyrics, "You are my world now," combined with the playful and memorable hook "Dda-rum," offer a delightful experience. Han Jin, who participated in the guide recording of the title track, expressed his affection for the song, stating, "I knew instantly it was a TWS song the moment I heard it."
Do Hoon, who took part in the songwriting process, explained that he strived to express emotions as naturally as possible. He shared, "To perfectly capture the theme of expressing one's feelings honestly towards someone, I watched many romance movies and dramas," adding that he tried to infuse the lyrics with the emotions and actions of the characters.
On stage, TWS showcased sharper and more focused energy, embodying mature yet relaxed feelings of love through precise performances. The point choreography of the "Dda-rum" section captures TWS's bright charm and matured presence with playful shoulder and foot movements that match the pronunciation.
Questions about their comeback challenge followed, given TWS's previous viral 'Pittak Challenge' on social media. Young Jae humbly acknowledged the explosive popularity of the previous challenge, saying, "It seems the public recognized our hard work in filming and promoting." Ji Hoon introduced the new 'Follow Challenge' as a challenge that allows everyone to enjoy the hook of the choreography in various ways.

When asked which artist they would like to collaborate with for the challenge, Ji Hoon gave a unique answer, suggesting, "It would be fun to film while safely riding a bicycle." Han Jin expressed his admiration for IU, saying, "I really love IU's music and dramas. It would be amazing to film together," revealing his fandom.
Regarding their growth journey as a group, TWS agreed that their stage manners, expressions, and gestures have become more natural and diverse. Their deepened teamwork and camaraderie, to the point of understanding each other's intentions with just a glance, seamlessly translated into their stage performance. Han Jin shared their aspiration, "We want to become everyone's ideal type and a group that brings joyful excitement to fans and the public."
'NO TRAGEDY' consists of six tracks: 'You, You', 'All the Possibilities', 'Why You So Bad?', 'Get It Now', 'Fire Escape', and 'Back To Strangers'. The album captures the clumsy yet sincere emotions of first love through various genres such as house, hyperpop, R&B, boom bap hip-hop, punk, and rock. The members participated in writing and composing multiple tracks, once again proving their capabilities as a 'hexagonal all-rounder' group.
TWS, moving beyond their image as 'refreshing rookies', has begun to define their path as artists. Their ultimate goal is to perform at stadium concerts to meet more fans.
TWS's 5th mini-album 'NO TRAGEDY' will be released today at 6 PM on various music sites.
