The news of Lee Young-ji's eye fat repositioning procedure has been a hot topic among fans. Previously, Lee Young-ji appeared as a guest at a SEVENTEEN unit BSS concert, performing "Fighting" on stage. She explained her decision to wear sunglasses throughout the performance, stating, "I didn't wear sunglasses to be disrespectful at the senior artists' concert. I had no choice as I recently underwent eye fat repositioning. I wanted to clarify this to avoid any misunderstandings with the esteemed seniors."
Lee Young-ji also addressed the topic on a fan-exclusive communication platform, saying, "I hesitated to mention the eye fat repositioning surgery because I didn't want to seem like I was promoting it. It was my first and last time doing it after four years of consideration."
