QWER Band Embraces Artistic Growth with New Mini Album 'CEREMONY'
On the morning of the 27th, QWER members Chodan, Magenta, Hina, and Siyeon held a media showcase at the Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Changcheon-dong, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their fourth mini-album 'CEREMONY'.
Chodan shared her thoughts on their comeback after 10 months, saying, "I want to thank the fans who have waited for us. We've entered Chapter 2, and we hope for your continued love." Siyeon added, "We are back after the tour, and I'm thrilled to share the music we've honed during that time."
Hina described the album as "meaningful," noting the increased involvement of the members in its creation. "All the members actively participated in the songwriting process. Despite our busy schedules, we put in a lot of effort. During the world tour, we learned a lot both mentally and physically. This time has allowed us to take a step forward as artists. I was worried about writing lyrics, but this experience has made me enjoy it," she said proudly.
Siyeon also mentioned, "My input was significantly reflected in the recordings. It felt like a collaborative effort, which made me feel more responsible." She continued, "This project wasn't easy. When I first heard the song, I realized it was very different from what we've done before, both in style and complexity. Through this, I've learned a lot about how to handle my voice, and I'm very proud."
QWER's fourth mini-album 'CEREMONY' embodies their determination to find their identity and live authentically as a team. The album includes five tracks, with the title track 'CEREMONY' being a rock genre song that declares their intention to live freely beyond societal constraints.
QWER's mini-album 'CEREMONY' will be released on various music platforms at 6 PM on the 27th.
