IVE Expands Their World Tour with Electrifying Performances in Japan

K-pop sensation IVE has taken Japan by storm, expanding the scale of their second world tour.

On October 18th and 19th, IVE held their second world tour, 'SHOW WHAT I AM,' at Kyocera Dome Osaka. The group made a remarkable debut at the venue, selling out both shows and even opening additional restricted-view seats due to high demand. Over the two days, IVE drew approximately 79,000 fans, showcasing their immense popularity. This follows their successful encore performance at Tokyo Dome, which attracted around 95,000 attendees.

The concert kicked off with a powerful band sound in 'GOTCHA,' followed by energetic performances of 'XOXZ,' 'Baddie,' 'Ice Queen,' 'BLACKHOLE,' 'TKO,' 'Holy Moly,' and 'My Satisfaction,' filling Kyocera Dome with vibrant energy.

The highlight of the show was the solo performances that showcased the distinct personalities of the six members. Jang Wonyoung's sophisticated '8,' Rei's charming 'In Your Heart,' Liz's powerful 'Unreal,' Gaeul's dreamy 'Odd,' Leeseo's diverse 'Super ICY,' and An Yujin's grand 'Force' each added depth to the concert, highlighting the unique colors within the group.

The excitement from the solo stages seamlessly transitioned into a unified performance as IVE came together as one team. They elevated the second half of the concert with 'Beep Beep (♥beats).' Member Gaeul, who participated in the choreography creation, shared, "I wanted to create a new presentation for the opening of the second half, so I paid special attention to the performance's impact," leading to cheers from the audience.

A standout moment of the Kyocera Dome concert was the premiere of a new song. IVE unveiled the stage for 'LUCID DREAM,' the title track of their upcoming fourth Japanese album, set to release on May 27th. An Yujin described the song as a space for self-reflection and honesty, rather than mere escapism, and demonstrated the 'Cool Cool (Nemu Nemu) Dance,' drawing enthusiastic responses from DIVE, their official fan club.

On October 17th, IVE announced via their official Japanese social media that the track 'JIGSAW' from 'LUCID DREAM' will be the theme song for the TV Tokyo drama 'Strange - Junji Ito's Bizarre Tales That Keep You Awake at Night,' airing in July. The limited edition of the album will feature special designs by Junji Ito, a master of Japanese horror manga, who reimagined the IVE members in his unique dark style. This collaboration has sparked significant interest among local fans, heightening anticipation for the new release.
