Kangmin of VERIVERY Embraces a Delicate Image for Solo Debut with 'Free Falling'
On the 23rd, Kangmin met with TenAsia at Jellyfish Entertainment's headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, to discuss his first solo single album 'Free Falling'.
Kangmin expressed his desire to showcase a fragile, boyish visual through this activity, saying, "I actually tried not to exercise. It's not because I didn't want to, but I thought it would better express the concept." He added, "To visually convey the word 'anxiety,' I thought I needed to appear as thin as possible. I've been dieting diligently and have lost an additional 2kg."
Kangmin's first single 'Free Falling' includes three tracks, featuring the title track of the same name, which he participated in writing. The title track 'Free Falling' is a contemporary R&B pop song that blends dynamic rhythms with guitar and EP ensembles. The song depicts the unstable emotions of two people in a relationship, pushing each other away and pulling back together, exchanging love and hurt.
Meanwhile, Kangmin's 'Free Falling' was released on various music streaming sites on the 26th at 6 PM.
