On the 19th, at midnight, BTS unveiled an additional teaser for the music video of their new title track 'SWIM' on their official social media and YouTube channels. While the first teaser, released on the 18th, piqued curiosity with a woman gazing at a ship model in a museum, the latest teaser fully reveals all seven BTS members. The video begins with the bow of a white sailing ship cutting through the sea, set to the backdrop of 'SWIM'. The members stand in line on the massive ship, staring straight ahead with unwavering focus. The cinematic grandeur and the members' resolute presence heighten anticipation for the full release.
Directed by Tanu Muino: A Visual Masterpiece
The music video is directed by the renowned Tanu Muino, known for his work with global pop stars like Post Malone, Doja Cat, and Dua Lipa, as well as Jungkook's solo track 'Standing Next to You'. The world is eagerly awaiting the stunning visuals that Muino's direction promises to deliver.
The title track 'SWIM' is an upbeat alternative pop song that conveys the message of persevering through life's waves. It expresses the determination to swim at one's own pace amidst the currents, embodying a 'love for life'. RM contributed to the lyrics, adding depth to the song, while Bang Si-hyuk served as the album's executive producer.
BTS will release their new album on the 20th at 1 PM and will appear on NBC's popular program 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on March 25-26 (local time). The show teased BTS's appearance with a surprise video on its official social media on the 18th, featuring Jimmy Fallon exclaiming, "BTS RETURNS ON MARCH 25TH". This marks the group's first full appearance on the show in approximately 4 years and 8 months since July 2021. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new performances and the group's dynamic synergy.
Additionally, from March 20 to April 19, BTS will launch the urban project 'BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL' across Seoul. Visitors can enjoy various offline programs and experience the 'rarity of experience' unique to specific locations and times. The project will prominently feature the album's key color, red, offering a variety of attractions. On the album release day, March 20, a media facade at Sungnyemun and Namsan Seoul Tower, along with a drone show at Ttukseom Hangang Park, will captivate audiences.
