ZEROBASEONE's Final Encore: A Heartfelt Farewell from Leader Sung Han-bin

The journey of the nine-member boy group ZEROBASEONE, formed through the 2023 Mnet survival show 'Boys Planet,' has come to an emotional end. Leader Sung Han-bin, who was visibly moved, delivered a heartfelt farewell to fans and read a letter he had prepared for his fellow members.

The concert marked the conclusion of ZEROBASEONE's journey as a complete group. Born from the audition program 'Boys Planet,' they created a significant sensation. Although their activity period was extended by two months, the team now faces a new chapter after this concert. Members Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, and Park Gun-wook will continue group activities, while Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-bin, and Han Yu-jin will return to their original agency, YH Entertainment, to pursue new paths.

ZEROBASEONE held their encore concert '2026 ZEROBASEONE World Tour 'HERE & NOW' Encore' from the 13th to the 15th at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, meeting with fans. The concerts, which marked the grand finale of their world tour that began in Seoul, were unforgettable, with tickets selling out immediately, including restricted-view seats.

Sung Han-bin began by saying, "This moment, which seemed like it would never come, has finally arrived, and it feels both harsh and regretful." He continued, "During our activities and even in daily life, I received great strength from the members, and I was always grateful for that."

He confessed, "The position of leader, which I took on for the first time, was never light and sometimes felt like a burden." However, he emphasized, "Even in difficult moments, I was able to keep going because my beloved members were by my side."

Sung Han-bin shared, "I was someone who was used to solving things alone, but through the time spent with the members, I realized that I, too, am someone who needs help and support." He added, "It was the trust from the members that allowed me to stand up again during tough times. That trust made me stronger."

He reflected, "I tried to be a role model so that the members could walk confidently wherever they go, and in doing so, I might have said things that were hard to hear." He explained, "The reason for all my words and actions was solely because I didn't want my beloved members to get hurt elsewhere." He expressed, "If there were moments when I hurt the members, I sincerely apologize now and hope they can forgive me with open hearts," shedding tears.

He continued, "Sometimes, hearing 'Han-bin hyung will take care of it' felt like pressure, but after realizing it was a sign of the members' great trust, it became precious to me." He added, "At that moment, I felt we had truly become a family, which makes this moment even more poignant."

Sung Han-bin mentioned each member by name, saying, "I love my members, who are like family, very much." He continued, "Even if we walk different paths now, I will always be the first to cheer for you from close by." He also encouraged, "Let's use the memories we've built together to move forward with confidence. I hope for a future filled with only happiness and success."

Finally, he concluded his letter by saying, "When the nine of us reunite someday, let's embrace each other with smiles, just like now," and added, "Though I was inexperienced, I convey this message as a leader who loved the members more than anyone else."
