Singer Jo Ju-han Joins KBS's '6 O'Clock My Hometown' as a Reporter
On October 13, Jo Ju-han made his debut as a reporter for the new segment 'Find the Master in Traditional Markets' on KBS 1TV's '6 O'Clock My Hometown.' From the very first episode, he showcased his unique wit and boundless energy, marking a successful debut.
In the episode, Jo visited the 'Myeongseo Traditional Market' in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. Dressed in traditional attire for the Jeongwol Daeboreum festival, he captivated the audience with an impressive sangmo spinning performance, reflecting his solid foundation in Korean traditional music and engaging stage presence. His performance immediately drew the attention of both merchants and citizens, raising expectations for the segment.
Jo Ju-han teamed up with fellow reporter Peter Pan to form the 'Excitement Brothers,' exploring the market to find hidden masters. Jo's friendly approach and natural charisma kept the atmosphere lively as he interacted with the merchants.
Beyond just introducing food, Jo listened to the stories of the 'Bokdwaeji Brothers,' merchants who have maintained a 35-year friendship, capturing the warm life stories of the market people with sincerity. Jo's ability to convey the flavors, charm, and human warmth of the market brought new energy to '6 O'Clock My Hometown.'
