K-pop group ITZY is set to perform their much-anticipated track 'THAT'S A NO NO' on a music broadcast stage.

On the upcoming episode of Mnet's 'M Countdown,' airing on the 19th, ITZY will present a special stage for 'THAT'S A NO NO,' a track from their March 2020 mini-album 'IT'z ME.' This performance is a response to the growing popularity of the song, affectionately nicknamed 'Daechu No No.' Prior to this, on the 14th at 6 PM, ITZY will release a dance practice video for 'THAT'S A NO NO' on their official social media channels, further building excitement.

The song's popularity surged during ITZY's 'ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR ' which kicked off in February. The performance of 'THAT'S A NO NO' was first unveiled during this tour, captivating audiences with its addictive melody and exhilarating choreography. The enthusiastic response from the live audience has translated online, leading ITZY to make the rare move of performing a six-year-old song on a music broadcast stage.

The full cam version of 'THAT'S A NO NO' from the tour, released by JYP Entertainment on February 23rd, has been a hit. It topped YouTube's domestic popular music video daily chart on March 8th and has surpassed 3.61 million views as of the morning of the 13th. The song is also trending across various social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok. ITZY members, along with other K-pop artists like TWICE's Momo and Jihyo, NEXZ's Tomoya, and KickFlip's Gyehoon and KJ, have joined the dance challenge. Even JYP Entertainment's founder, Park Jin-young, shared short-form content of the challenge on his personal Instagram, captioning it with "Why do I feel so itchy to dance?"

Reflecting its popularity, 'THAT'S A NO NO' has been climbing the daily charts on the Korean music site Melon, entering at 961st on the 2nd and rising to 191st by the 11th, showcasing the growing interest from K-pop fans.

Riding this wave of success, ITZY's youngest member, Yuna, will make her solo debut with her first album 'Ice Cream' and its title track on the 23rd.
