At Heart's Bomi Shines as a 'Next-Gen Concept Idol' with New Single 'Butterfly Doors'
On the 10th, At Heart sat down with Ten Asia to discuss their new digital single 'Butterfly Doors'.
During the interview, Arin revealed that she was overwhelmed with emotion and shed tears with her members after completing the music video shoot in Los Angeles, USA. She said, "We had very little time to practice the choreography before heading to shoot the music video. Some of our friends were unwell during the preparation, so once the shoot was over, all the tension released and emotions surged. During the shoot, I was focused solely on creating a good outcome without any emotions," she shared.
She continued, "When we were preparing for our debut, the debut itself was the only goal. Now, we have a strong desire to show who we are. We often have deep conversations among the members, reinforcing our determination to succeed."
Bomi added, "Including the pre-released track 'Shut Up', we shot two songs over about four days. There were staff members from Korea and those based in the US on set. It was overwhelming and touching to see so many people working hard for us. Thanks to their consideration, we were able to work in a great environment, which was very motivating," expressing her gratitude to the staff.
Bomi also highlighted the supportive environment as a key factor for 'Shut Up' reaching number one on YouTube's 'Daily Shorts Popular Songs'. She said, "I believe the quality of our music is very high. We have A&R teams in both Korea and the US who collaborate to find songs that suit us. They always ask for our opinions, and their efforts have been a great help to us," acknowledging the hard work of the staff.
At Heart's digital single 'Butterfly Doors' is a song about the moment when one's perspective expands from their own world to others. The track is a pop R&B genre featuring a heavy 808 bass and intricate synth sounds. Previously, the pre-released single 'Shut Up', released on the 26th of last month, is a pop R&B track based on a retro funk vibe, confidently conveying a message of moving forward with conviction in one's intuition.
Meanwhile, At Heart's digital single 'Butterfly Doors' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 11th.
