MAMAMOO's Solar Expands Global Presence with New Chinese Single 'Your Own Star'

MAMAMOO member Solar is set to expand her global presence with the release of her new Chinese single.

Today, at 6 PM, Solar will release her Chinese single '總有一顆屬於你的星球' (translated as 'Your Own Star') across various music platforms.

'Your Own Star' is a song that explores the journey of finding one's own coordinates and meaning of existence amidst the vast flow of time. The track combines a lyrical atmosphere with an upbeat band sound, enhancing the listening experience.

Solar collaborates with 'Gen Z top band' Accusefive on 'Your Own Star', drawing attention. She not only guided the direction of the song but also participated in writing the lyrics, adding authenticity to the project.

The music video, released alongside the single, offers comforting solace to those feeling lonely. Featuring both Solar and Accusefive, it promises to deliver a musical synergy that transcends borders and languages.

With consecutive releases of Chinese singles, Solar is targeting the Chinese music market. Her previous collaboration with Taipei singer-songwriter 9m88 on the Chinese single 'Floating Free' in June last year topped the Taipei iTunes 'Top Songs' chart and the KKBOX Top Trending Songs chart, dominating major local charts.

Through 'Your Own Star', Solar's collaboration with Accusefive marks a strategic move to further penetrate the Chinese music market, solidifying her status as a 'K-pop Diva' with an expanded global presence.
