Younha Unveils Music Videos from Her First Remake Album 'SUB CHARACTER'
On the midnight of the 4th and 6th, Younha uploaded music videos for the pre-released track 'Crime of the Season' and the album track 'Sub Character' from her first remake album 'SUB CHARACTER' on her official YouTube channel.
The first track, 'Crime of the Season', which was pre-released last month in audio form, uses the metaphor of the four seasons to express memories of the past. The second track, 'Sub Character', narrates the feelings of admiration and inferiority from the perspective of a supporting character watching the protagonist.
In the 'Crime of the Season' video, Younha is seen playing the piano. The video includes scenes captured through a third camera lens, visually representing the theme of the song against the backdrop of changing seasons.
The 'Sub Character' video predominantly features Younha singing along with a band session. The video is set in an indoor studio with numerous character illustrations on the floor, showcasing Younha performing to the band's music.
Both videos are narratively connected. They depict a girl who loses her cherished LP record stored in a school locker. The story unfolds as she encounters a group of students known as the 'Girl Pirate Crew' at the end of a hallway. The group is shown decorating the empty locker with various character stickers.
All four tracks from the album have individual music videos. Younha plans to release the video for the title track 'Yeomra' on the 9th and the final track 'Skybound' on the 12th. The development of the 'Girl Pirate Crew' storyline in the upcoming videos remains a point of interest.
The full album 'SUB CHARACTER' will be officially released on major music platforms worldwide at 6 PM on the 9th.
