BTS Announces Grand Comeback with 'ARIRANG' and Live Event at Gwanghwamun

BTS has officially announced their return with the release of a comeback live trailer.

On the morning of the 5th, BTS unveiled the trailer video and poster for 'BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG' through their official social media channels. The video opens with the passionate cheers and applause of ARMY, their dedicated fanbase, echoing from past concerts. The members express their longing for their fans, saying, "We really miss you."

The scene then transitions to Gyeongbokgung Palace, accompanied by RM's narration, "We promised our fans that we’d be back." The members exude a powerful presence against the backdrop of the palace, both day and night. The phrases "THE WORLD’S BIGGEST BAND IS BACK" and "WITNESS THE HOMECOMING" appear, heightening anticipation for their comeback.

The members share their thoughts, saying, "We feel that everything has changed," and "We believe that the seven of us can continue on this path and keep swimming forward." The poster released alongside the video features the silhouettes of the seven members standing in front of Gwanghwamun, capturing attention.

BTS is set to release their 5th studio album 'ARIRANG' on the 20th, followed by a comeback live event at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on the 21st at 8 PM. Directed by Hamish Hamilton, known for his work on the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony and the Super Bowl halftime show, the event promises to deliver a stage worthy of a global spectacle. Fans unable to attend in person can watch the event live on Netflix from anywhere in the world.

The title track of BTS's new album 'ARIRANG', 'SWIM', is a song about persevering through the waves of life. It conveys the determination to navigate the currents at one's own pace with a message of "love for life." RM contributed to the songwriting, adding authenticity to the track.
