YG Entertainment has announced an exciting year ahead, with plans for active promotions of their top artists and the launch of new groups, raising anticipation among global music fans.

On the 4th, YG Entertainment posted '2026 YG PLAN | YG ANNOUNCEMENT' on their official blog. The video outlines the activity plans for their artists this year and includes an interview with Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk, detailing the roadmap for upcoming rookie groups.

YG revealed through subtitles that they are preparing a new boy group set to debut in the fall of 2026. Previously, Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk disclosed the existence of a male trainee team with debut potential, stating, "We are continuously exploring and analyzing these trainees. I hope to launch a team next year." This marks the first new boy group from YG in six years since TREASURE.

The outline of the four-member rookie girl group, tentatively named Next Monster, has also become clearer. Following the impressive performance and vocal videos from last year by members Ively and Chanya, the remaining two members are set to be revealed.

The video also announced Big Bang's 20th-anniversary tour and the comebacks of BABYMONSTER and TREASURE. With the debut project for new groups running concurrently, there is significant interest in the synergy YG artists will create in the K-pop market this year.

Additionally, Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk has been working on improving internal systems to shorten album preparation times and continuously discover new IPs since last year. With all preparations complete, 2026 is expected to be the year these changes take full effect.

YG stated, "We will refine the results of our preparations to bring you joyful news throughout the year," and added, "Please look forward to the artists who will lead the new generation."

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment has confirmed the hosting of Big Bang's 20th-anniversary tour this year. They plan to continue their journey with the members as part of the YG family, based on strong trust.
