BAE173's Hangyul Ends Contract with PocketDol Studio After a Decade
Hangyul, a member of the group BAE173, will be ending his exclusive contract with PocketDol Studio.

On the 11th, PocketDol Studio officially announced, "The exclusive contract with Hangyul will conclude on the 28th."

They continued, "It has been a precious journey of witnessing each other's growth over the past 10 years. We sincerely thank Hangyul for his passion and dedication. Although our exclusive contract is ending, we wholeheartedly support his future endeavors and challenges."

CEO Kim Kwang-soo stated, "Hangyul has been a steadfast friend through both good and challenging times. He has been a companion, friend, and brother to me. I am truly grateful for the time we spent together."

He added, "In my 41 years of observing many artists, it's rare to find someone like Hangyul who quietly holds his place and shows authenticity. As a dear friend, I genuinely congratulate and support him on his new path."

Hangyul has been with the agency for about 10 years, starting as a trainee. He debuted with the group IM in 2017, gained recognition on KBS2's 'The Unit' by ranking 13th, and became a final member of the project group X1 through Mnet's 'PRODUCE X 101', building a public profile. He later pre-debuted with the unit H&D alongside Nam Dohyon and officially debuted with BAE173 on November 19, 2020, continuing active promotions.

Recently, he was selected as a final member on the survival program 'Starlight Boys', embarking on a new challenge with the group POLARIX.
