IVE Targets K-Pop Scene with New Track 'BANG BANG'

K-pop group IVE is setting its sights on the music scene with their latest track 'BANG BANG'.

According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE (comprising members An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo) will release the pre-release track 'BANG BANG' from their second full-length album 'REVIVE+' on various online music platforms at 6 PM KST on the 9th.

'BANG BANG' carries a message of self-empowerment, encouraging listeners to make their own choices and face situations with confidence, regardless of external opinions or rumors. The track is an intense opening number driven by EDM and electronic sounds, featuring a Western swing-inspired intro and a straightforward beat that showcases IVE's expanding musical spectrum.

Previously, IVE has conveyed messages of 'self-assurance' centered around 'me', broadening their perspective to include 'empathy' and 'solidarity', thus resonating deeply with the public. In 'BANG BANG', they delve into the theme of 'attitude' and hint at the new narrative and direction they will explore in 'REVIVE+'.

Ahead of the release, IVE stirred excitement by unveiling teaser photos for 'BANG BANG' on their official social media channels on the 8th. The photos feature the members against a striking red backdrop, styled in black tones that capture attention. Their photogenic poses and charismatic gazes visually embody the song's vibe. The combination of leather outfits and their captivating visuals creates an overwhelming atmosphere, suggesting that IVE will further fuel the 'IVE syndrome' with this comeback.
