YouTuber Park Wi Opens Up About Discovering His Wife's True Personality After Marriage

YouTuber Park Wi has revealed insights into his wife Song Ji-eun's true personality after their marriage.

On October 2nd, the YouTube channel 'Compassion' uploaded a video titled 'I Started Accepting Her As She Is.' In this video, Park Wi shared his personal experience on the topic 'Discovering Your Spouse's True Self After Marriage.'

Park Wi began by saying, "During our dating period, I thought we were very compatible, but after getting married, I realized we are quite different." He continued, "I believed Ji-eun was someone who accepted and liked everything, but in reality, she has very distinct preferences," adding that he hadn't realized this before marriage.

He expressed a sense of regret upon discovering his wife's clear preferences. Park Wi said, "I felt heartbroken thinking she might have been sacrificing herself all this time," and added, "Now that we're married, I want her to live fully, expressing all her capabilities."

Park Wi also compared the change in Song Ji-eun to a blooming flower. He said, "Just like a flower blooms after being watered, Ji-eun's expression has changed remarkably since she started learning flower arranging as a hobby," and added, "It's wonderful to see her suppressed traits coming to light like a blooming flower."

He also discussed their approach to differences in their relationship. Park Wi stated, "Instead of trying to forcefully understand our differences, I decided to acknowledge her as an individual named 'Song Ji-eun,'" and added, "After accepting this, I no longer feel the need to adjust to each other."

Park Wi and Song Ji-eun tied the knot in October 2024. Park Wi, who was diagnosed with full-body paralysis after a building fall accident, runs the YouTube channel 'Wiracle,' where he shares his rehabilitation journey.

Previously, Song Ji-eun shared her thoughts on having children. She expressed, "I have plans for children," and explained, "The happiness and love experienced while raising a child are emotions I've never felt before." She added, "I want to build a happy family through children," and emphasized, "Although we haven't set a specific timeline, our plans for having children are firm."
