K-Pop Group KiiiKiii Returns with 'Delulu Pack' and a Fresh 'Gen Z' Vibe
K-Pop group KiiiKiii has returned with a 'Gen Z' flair. KiiiKiii (members Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Haeum, and Kiya) held a media showcase on the 26th at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their second mini-album 'Delulu Pack'.
The new album features six tracks, including the title track '404 (New Era)', 'Delulu', 'UNDERDOGS', 'Meongnyang', 'Dizzy', and 'To Me From Me (Prod. TABLO)'. Haeum shared, "We talked a lot about new challenges among the members. We want to show new and diverse sides of ourselves." Kiya added, "It's been a while since our last album, so we were very excited. We've worked hard for a long time to prepare, and we aim to showcase good music and our unique color."
The album is filled with 'Gen Z' elements. Sui noted, "The repeated parts in the intro and chorus are the killing parts. The lyrics 'Even if you submit a blank paper, you get 100 points' are also a highlight." Haeum explained, "There's a dance move like taking a selfie, which is a 'Gen Z' element. There's also a playful line 'Wink, wink, tongue out', which represents KiiiKiii's fun and engaging 'Gen Z' style."
KiiiKiii, who debuted in March last year, is already approaching their first anniversary. Reflecting on their journey, Isol said, "Last year was full of gratitude and some regrets." She added, "The regret was not being able to show all of our potential. The time was too short to showcase everything. We've worked to address those areas and show a more developed side in this comeback." Jiyu added, "Regardless of evaluations, all the processes and results have become our foundation and nourishment."
KiiiKiii has been associated with the 'Gen Z' label since their debut. Isol stated, "Our goal for this comeback is to create music that resonates with not just the Gen Z generation but all generations, and to convey the energy that comes from it."
KiiiKiii is determined to reach larger stages. Sui shared, "We want to spend more time with our fans and perform on various stages, including major international festivals." The members expressed their aspirations, "We hope to have the opportunity to perform at large overseas festivals like Lollapalooza or Summer Sonic, where our senior group IVE has performed impressively."
KiiiKiii's second mini-album 'Delulu Pack' will be released at 6 PM today.
