Singer CHUU, who is actively promoting her first full-length album 'XO, My Cyberlove,' has released a stunning photoshoot and interview with 'Singles' magazine.

In the February issue of 'Singles,' CHUU showcases a more mature and deepened musical world, moving beyond her usual bright and lovely image, signaling the start of a new chapter.

In the accompanying interview, CHUU discussed her lower vocal tones featured in the album, stating, "I sang in the tone I can best deliver from the intro to the end. I was so immersed that I finished recording without any edits." She also mentioned the challenging choreography, saying, "The dance is cute and intricate, but it's quite difficult, so I've been practicing a lot on my own." Regarding the pressure of her first full-length album, she confessed, "These days, I fall asleep as soon as I get home because I'm pouring all my passion into it. This album feels like a 'challenge,' and I'm grateful to have encountered 'XO, My Cyberlove' at a time when I wanted to try something new."

Discussing the message of the album, CHUU explained, "The song tells the story of AI learning and understanding the emotion of 'love' like humans, but it also conveys that we are already behaving and loving like AI. In the past, emotions were conveyed through words, glances, or holding hands, but now it's through messages, emojis, and photos. Love feels more indirect and incomplete, yet people still desire to 'connect' with each other, and that's the emotion I wanted to express through this album."

CHUU also shared insights into her everyday life as 'Kim Ji-woo,' stating that she doesn't differentiate between her stage persona and herself, and feels happiest when doing what she loves. Her small routines, such as traveling, swimming, and journaling, sustain her. She fills her days with the belief that "small things keep me grounded," as noted in her phone memos.

Towards the end of the interview, CHUU expressed her future aspirations, saying, "I never want to lose the passion and sparkle I have for what I'm doing now. I don't regret choosing this path and want to continue moving forward without wavering."
