BTS Announces New Album 'ARIRANG' After Nearly Four Years
BTS is set to release their new album titled 'ARIRANG' after a hiatus of 3 years and 9 months.

On January 16, at midnight, BTS revealed the name of their upcoming fifth studio album, set to be released on March 20, via the global fan platform Weverse. The album, which includes a total of 14 tracks, draws attention with its title 'ARIRANG', named after a famous Korean folk song.

'ARIRANG' encapsulates BTS's identity and the emotions they wish to share with their fans. As they prepare for their long-awaited comeback, the group naturally focused on their roots, origins, and inner stories. They aimed to infuse their music with the identity of a group that started in Korea and the profound longing and deep love that have taken root in their hearts. 'ARIRANG' symbolically represents BTS's identity and the sentiment of their new album.

Since their debut, BTS has consistently delivered authentic music that reflects the members' experiences and thoughts. This sincerity has resonated with many, becoming a powerful force behind their songs. The new album is expected to resonate globally by addressing universal emotions of longing and deep love.

BTS will kick off their new world tour starting April 9 at the Goyang Sports Complex. The tour will span 34 cities worldwide with a total of 79 shows, marking the most extensive tour in K-pop history. With additional concerts planned in Japan and the Middle East, the tour is expected to expand further. BTS will make history as the first Korean artists to perform in multiple stadiums across the United States, including El Paso, Foxborough, Arlington, and Baltimore. They also plan to enhance the live experience with a 360-degree stage production.
